I have the breed a brindle quest. I have NEVER bred one and have been playing HEE on and off for a long time. I have purchased 4 mares that are brindles with no luck. Any suggestions or is it just pure luck?

Brindle is completely random and can not be bred for. When you breed two brindles together your chances of getting a brindle foal are barely increased by a fraction of a percentage.

Whenever I get that quest I buy a cheap stallion and randomly breed him to a bunch of cheap broods. Eventually I get a Brindle and at RO I release all the foals and break even.
