A+A+ is dominant for wild bay. All his non-red based foals will be wild bay and all his foals will at least be carriers

KNN have a little bit of the base/tail stump layered in front of the Bang Tail instead of hidden behind the hair.

I don't think that's a bug. It's normal in horses to see the tail skin at the base.

It happens on AA with the bang tail as well - I think it's intended as the horse is lifting their tail slightly so you can see the skin where the tail has been 'tidied up'. Example:
