So. I need a lil' bit of help. I've never owned a registered horse before and as of now, I'm trying to get his Title transferred to me. However, I'm not sure who to get a hold of. We got him from a super sweet lady who held him without papers and never transferred him to herself. Erm.... And from two different websites, he is registered to two different people as of today. Both of these owners are two-three states apart from me. I'm not sure how to go about this title transfer either. Do I need to message them to get the Certficate of Registration?

A grade horse won't have a transfer. Transfers are tied to associations such as AQHA. A grade horse will have no paperwork other than a coggins. Transfers are to change a registered horses papers into your name.

Ohhh... Okay. The way I understood Grade horses was that they were registered without the owner having papers. Anyway, he is with the AHA (Arabian Horse Association).

If you have a bill of sale, you can contact AHA or previous owners. I'd suggest previous owners first as associations can be a pain to deal with.
