Update! Tonight I started teaching Mo how to lay down on cue! He's starting to pick up on step 1 & 2 nicely, I'm going to get him to master those before we go on any farther :) I didn't get any pictures or videos as it was to dark, but I'm going to work on it again when I go out tomorrow so I might get some then! If anyone is curious, I'm using Sam Vanfleet's technique (it's on YouTube and I can provide the link for anyone interested <3) |

I use Sam's methods as well. Super effective for all the horse's I've owned. I did my first session of it with my new girl today:) |

My haflinger gelding was a very fast learner, and I was able to teach him to bow, lay down, smile, spanish walk, rear from back and on ground, hug, sit, and basic things like follow and touch |

That's so cool, Coven!!! Mo knows how to hug and he's learning how to bow and lay down right now :D Update: I got some videos from the other night, and I practiced a bit more today, he has step 1 and 2 pretty much mastered, now we're introducing step 3 (didn't get any videos of it yet), but I'll try to next time! Laying down videos slides 3-7 |
