Is it worth putting a SPE wild bay mare up for brood? Are people still breeding for that?
Kaldwin Stud

Is there a reason for no D RID?
All Breeds
11:32:58 Fawn
Nope! I breed everything AD and 8/9 breeds Dressage so yeah 😭
Willow Ridge

I'm not sure how many mares and studs I have 😅 I breed Dressage SH, PON, X, AA, TB, WB, KNN and ISH
Angels angels
11:24:43 [1k+ brindles] Angel
Yeah I went with SH because they can be super shiny lol
-HEE Click-
This is my starting stock for now. Of course a couple PONs snuck in but lol
Willow Ridge
11:22:49 Lillie Pt 3
Thats what I do. I have almost 200 D SD mares and about 10-15 studs at the moment. I'm trying to move to shiny SD now and slowly breed out my solid mares.

What discipline are you doing SD?

Okay cool. Yeah there were a couple that didn't go up so they are gettijg trashed and I know if they don't go all up next week they get booted too
All Breeds
11:19:14 Fawn
Yeah that's what I do with my mares. If they produce mostly Es I yeet them
Ironworks Equestria

Ohhh. Huh. I guess I've been very lucky in the past as I've never seen it before until now lol. Okay, thanks Angels!
Willow Ridge
11:18:25 Lillie Pt 3
Ah I see, I thought you were talking about relatively established stock. What Fawn said is correct, I would keep them and see how they do week 6. Ive had some good up only 1 on week 3 and then go all up on week 6. I would keep the ones who go up at least 1 again on week 6. Obviously if they dont go up at all I would get rid of them

Its not a bug. It has always been like that. Everytime the page gets refreshed (going to the next page or anything like that) all the horses with the same price get randomized so you can see them in a different spot when you change pages or see them on multiple pages. Its annoying but not a bug
Ironworks Equestria
11:16:27 Seven | Harlan
Hm. Weird. I'm not sure how to "file" bug reports and I'm really not sure how to report this, lol.
Willow Ridge
11:16:07 Lillie Pt 3
For the mares if they have 2-3 E rated foals they go regardless of training to be honest. E rated SD foals are basically useless for me so they have to have really good production.
Angels angels

Fawn
Yeah that's what I am thinking

Lillie
Yeah I know thats what most people do but I am just starting and I have a bunch of 1 year olds I bred so I didn't know if it would be okay/worth it to keep them until I get better stock or just yeet them
Gaelic Gladiacres
11:15:24 Gladius
Seven - I noticed that for the auction page where you see the horses you're watching. For some reason they no longer stay in one order so I had to be like "wait which one was I just looking at and where did it go?"
All Breeds
11:14:28 Fawn
I guess maybe if they're only up 1 Wk 3 but do better Wk 6 to keep?

I do agree with the others ^^ It does look like you throw your shoulders a bit, and it's important to make sure your back doesn't curve. Additionally, you have to make sure to to hold onto the horse's mouth and give it room to move its head. And then, I'm not sure if it's just my poor eyesight, but it looks as though the stirrup is too far back on your foot in a few of these images, which is something to work on ^^

Also a big eq and hunter/jumper here
Everyone above is right. Jump with the horse. I was always taught to two-point with your belly button over the pommel. Close your knees and calves as well so your legs don't slip back as far. To look pretty in the show ring flow with the horse. With the different horses I ride each of their jumps put me in a different position when jumping. It's all about feeling what the most natural. Don't even think about going into a two-point just go to the jump and see what happens to your poition naturally.

I agree with everything that is being said here. Your lower leg is really the foundation of your jumping position, and when that is secure it is easier to work on your upper body, hands, etc. To help keep my lower leg in place, I focus on feeling my weight run down through my thigh, all the way to my heel. I tend to let my leg slip back like you do in these photos, but my trainer really hammered this way of thinking/riding into me and it has helped tremendously!

I'm sorry, I have been riding for 4 years yet am not good at things like this and am not able to critique you. But I just wanted to say that in my opinion I think you look great and your horses look very well groomed.

If you were jumping 5' your position would be great. But for the height of your jumps you are definitely over jumping. Keep your hip angles as those are good but pick your shoulders up and keep your lower leg by the girth. I ride Jumpers and if you horse threw in a buck, even a small playful one you would be easily u seated and most likely thrown. Work on lower leg, and core strength. Don't go to the horse let the horse come to you, instead of jumping down and dropping your shoulders to meet the horse pick the horse up before the jump, keep your shoulders up and back and the horse will come to you. My old instructor once said "Image having and ice cube dropped down the back of your shirt, that's what your back should look like" (maybe not that extreme). Other than that, great release, your horses look good (their gorgeous and look fine over the jumps) nice work!
