We had an amazing clinic yesterday! Sam Vanfleet and Camille McCutcheon were the trainers (check them out!) and we learned soooooo much!! Lots of it was groundwork that will help toward liberty circles and basic liberty maneuvers and then we worked on tricks after lunch! Alejandro picked up the Spanish walk really fast, and the sidepassing towards me. We worked on the lay down as well with Sams method, Al got the basic first steps of it so I then moved to see if he would lay down from the bow and he did! I was pretty surprised lol.

Overall, it was worth the 3.5 hour drive and I would totally do it again! I also made the decision to not send him to training and work on it myself :)

That's great! I've never had a horse that can do the Spanish walk. That's so cool.

Big day! We got our first canter strifes!! Not without fault though lol, he did kick up a couple times xD We got through it! Ended with 5 or 6 fluid strides in a row 🥳🥳

Also, I got him to lay down! He did it once at the clinic and this is his first time doing it at home! While we work on Sam Vanfleets method of lowering the head and tapping the belly I use the bow into lay down method since that's what he likes the best!

Oh he's gorgeous! I have seen Sam Vanfleet on youtube and she dose some remarkable suff with her mustangs, your super lucky to be working with her. Congtrats on all your achivments! He's super cute!

Alejandro now has 17 rides! WTC both ways on both leads, simple changes, English and western plus a little jumping :D

We have been to a show where we did equitation and Hunter under saddle. Also went out to jump cross country a couple weeks ago.
