Long winded response warning...
Breeding is frustrating because it is hard to, tell if your horse is good. Medallions,svens, glasses used all used distort the real outcome. Also RF is ridiculous. Not getting higher ratings is not an option either. I think horses should have to meet training and showing requirements to hit a LB. This is an eventing game supposedly which ultimately means showing. Horse with no show expireience and little training should not even qualify for leader board. Sitting back and not even playing the heart of the game and getting lucrative income from horses not ever shown is unfair.

I find what really works with kids that lie for attention e.g the Olympic horse stuff, ignoring them completely and not even questioning it is the best option haha

In which case they won't notice the LB horses not being available 🀣 But yes I definitely agree it should be communication based. The only downside I can see is if a youngling is spam breeding something you can't get in touch and ask them to stop, but then again if its a personal choice to restrict contact I guess that just becomes one of those things? Ill definitely write up a suggestion about it

You get to the middle of a valley ropes in hand as the wild horses swarm around you three catch your eye. You swing once then twice then let your rope fly. It lands around the neck of a amber champagne mare who rears but soon gives up on the
fight
Next you turn your mount spotting a nice moose brown stallionyou swing your rope again it takes four swings and the rope soars through the air catching the stallion at the base of his neck. He tried to turn and pull against the rope but failed. he was captured.
Lastly you spot a bay stallion his head low to the ground. Before your could swing your rope he walks right up to you letting you slide the rope over his ears.
