Max Vandenburg Age 25 Gender Male Apperence Max has a simple short cut which he usually wears in a fitting gelled combover. His hair is a dark brown if not black with piercing green eyes, a ring of amber in around the iris. The man has fair skin, not too pale, not too tan. He has Roman facial features from his father's side, only gaining his eyes from his mother's. The man towers over at a staggering 6'5, making a difference when he steps into a room. Max has squared shoulders and a decent build, either in shape or a twig when his mind gets to him. He's usually seen in a basic style of jeans followed by a fitting shirt and matching rest of the outift, not alot of jewlery besides a simple thin gold chain around his neck. Other then this he wears none, not feeling it fits his style. Backstory Max was born into a already argumentative relationship between his parents, seeing himself as only a obstacle between his mother Liana and his father, Caleb. When Emery was born he became protective of her, beating the snot out of those he could who messed with her. Even if his parent's despised him for it and the school office became his second home--he felt proud of protecting her. He's been through numerous toxic relationships since high school, knowing when to leave one if needed. Max graduated college three years ago, now helping Emery get through her first. He has a degree in architecture, a decent paying job, and a fair house. He's one who works for what he wants--or doesn't work at all. Currently he's taking a extra architecture class that was free for all, mainly to unrust his skills. Extra Details Emery's older brother, other then that, none. Personality Quiet-Introverted-Almost cold-keeps up walls-laughs with only few people, being Emery and the shadows scraping in his mind Birthday November 30th Edited at May 4, 2025 12:12 PM by RFS Thoroughbreds

Max Vandenburg awoke to a musky morning outside his window, the mist already collecting on the glass. The early dawns ray's flicked into his room through the blinds, slightly illuminating the dark room he spent most of his days in. The man sat up and yawned, getting up and walking over to his bathroom. He brushed his teeth and did a quick shave, getting rid of the few straggler hairs that had still tagged along. Max then made his way into the kitchen and made a quick bagle, letting his doberman Rocky outside. He then went back into his bedroom and got dressed in a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and a matching pair of Nike Dunk's. The man looped on his thin gold chain before walking into his bathroom and fixing his messy hair into a gelled combover, it being a fitting style on him. He wiped the crumbs off his face and regretted signing up for a class before grabbing his keys and heading out-after letting Rocky back in, of course. Max drove over to the college, walking into the architectural section and into his assigned class, taking a seat near the back as he cracked open a RedBull. The professor walked in a few minutes late, Max not minding as he opened his laptop and started to jot down notes, figuring ways he could use them at his job. While doing so he scouted the room for any women who caught his eye, only gazing for a second before back up to the professor.

Kylie woke up late to the sound of her alarm blaring. She sat up, startled, checking her phone, crap she'd slept through her first 4 alarms... She sprung up throwing on a pair of black jeans and a white crop top, just something simple as she didn't have too much time to think about it all before she had to go. Kylie brushed her teeth and hair, popping in her mini gold hoop earrings and putting on a matching simple gold heart necklace. She did her makeup quickly before heading out. She grabbed an apple on her way out before sprinting down to her class in the architectural section of campus. Kylie was just 10 minutes late to class, not too bad, but also not good. She slipped into class, blushing. She always found it embarrassing to go into a classroom that was silent and the professor was already teaching. She felt like everyone was watching and judging her, even though probably no one cared. Kylie quietly found herself a spot towards the back classroom corner, taking out her notebook and jotting down notes as the professor spoke.

Max ackowledged the woman walking in late, shrugging it off as the professor started back up again. Eventually it was time for questions, Max's smooth rolling voice one of them. "Sir, how does the integration of passive solar design principles influence thermal mass placement in mixed-humid climates, and how would you adapt those strategies for a multi-story residential structure?" He asked, the professor stammering slightly. "I cannot name that off the top of my head, that would make a excellent research question Mr...." He trailed off, Max filling in. "Vandenburg." The professor nodded, continuing on using Max's question as the man went back into his quiet setting of jotting down notes and finishing off his RedBull. Max's gaze flicked back over to the late woman, taking in her features before quickly refocusing. Class ended, and he gathered his things into his black backpack before grabbing it and heading out, answering a call from his boss.

Kylie glanced over at the man when he asked his question, listening in. Shoot... she didn't even know what half those words meant... she was definitely gonna fail this class... She bit her lip and flicked her gaze back down to her notes, continuing to focus on her notes, listening to her professor, and memorizing the notes. When class was over, she packed up her thinks into her bag and exited the building, heading over to the cafe across the street to study for a bit. She had to get most of her homework done before tonight as she had been invited to a party, and she didn't really know how long she was gonna be out for, or how wasted she was gonna be after it all.

Max met up with his friend, Jake for a coffee or two at a cafe. He walked in, his friend trailing behind him. The man went straight to the line, not sparing a look at anybody else as him and Jake joked in line before ordering the usuals, two blacks with only a hint of cream before taking their drinks and sitting at a table. The two just talked to themselves the whole time, laughing before Max finished his coffee and made a remark before heading out over to his next class.

Kylie ordered herself a iced coffee with two pumps of chocolate and one caramel, along with a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. She ate her food in a booth in the corner, headphones on, studying away. It was a while later when she finally finished up and headed off to her next class, Building Codes and Regulations. This was her least favorite class and it was very boring, to say the least. Kylie reluctantly made her way into the lecture hall and sat in the middle rows, towards the right side of the room. She took out her notebook for this class, and began taking notes as the professor spoke.

Max wondered around campus for a while, finding a cedar to sit under and look over his notes. He studied them well, locking the facts in his brain as his phone dinged--a invite to a party? The man asked if there'd be liquor, to which he got a yes--automatic bingo for him.
