~Profile~ ~Name~ Adelaide Evergreen ~Age~ 19 (immortal at this age, Vampire) ~Gender~ Female ~Nationality~ Adelaide is English ~Apperance~ Always carries a dagger under the shirt, on her thigh. ~Personality~ Adelaide is a bit of a social butterfly who tends to like to have a bit of fun but can also be very stubborn. Bit of charisma some would say from a Princess. Bit of a perfectionist. During her very short period of being a Vampire, shes learnt to not depend on human plasma as she has to blend in with the town. She does not require human plasma unless it desperate and last resort. ~Background~ Adelaide is the first Daughter to the king of England (sometime in medieval times). Growing up, Adelaide was no shy child, always getting into trouble with her father and locals. She started to become what some would say rebellious to the rules of her parents. After turning to a mature age, her father thought it was best to send her to one of the Islands of the Caribbean, That England had claimed. Just to figure herself out, hoping that being in a rough place would teach her. During her first year of being at the Island, Adelaide didn't settle down. Espeaically In town, where she kinda let the royalness of herself go and try and destress. One night Adelaide, kinda let it go, met a few individuals who she let her guard down. She got close to one in particular male.. everyone was just having fun then it was time to leave. Adelaide and this male begun walking back to the castle until the male stopped halfway there then snatched her away, hidden in a dark alley where sadly Adelaide lost her mortal life. After the male bit, it took a little while before he let go, leaving Adelaide on the ground. Adelaide wasn't found until the next morning by her mistress, who was very worried about her highness as she didn't return home. The mistress brought her back to the castle and cleaned her up. Adelaide being reborned meant she had to learn how to deal with becoming a vampire. Being the princess she had to learn alternatives to human plasma and be dependable to the humans around her. ~Power~ Adelaide is just shy out of newborn vampire, hasn't fully understood anypower but tends to be more stronger than the average female human. ~Other~ Mistress Isabella, 19F (side Character) Adelaide's childhood friend that became her servant. Comes off as a innocent female and follows close to Adelaide. Edited at June 15, 2026 04:27 AM by ~Emerald Acres Stud~

Name: Sage Acker Age: 20 years Gender: Male Appearance: Long black hair that ends at around his waist, normally done in an elaborate style. His eyes are a golden amber color, and his skin is a dark tan. He has some scars on his back from various punishments from his time serving various people, as well as a scar on his right cheek from a dagger years ago. He has various tattoos as well (the most noticeable ones are a dragon behind his left ear and a tribal sort of tattoo sleeve on his right arm), along with plenty of piercings (mainly his ears, but he does have a lip ring in the center of his lower lip as well). His build is slim but athletic, and while he's fairly short (about 5’3”) he can hold his own in a fight. His ears end in the pointed tips of the sea nymphs, courtesy of his mother (his father was human, his mother a nymph from the sea by the island there Sage hails from). This nymph nature also gives him almost ethereal features: sharp, and striking, with both a delicate and smooth but powerful and strong movement of his body that is natural to him. He wears typical pirate garb - a loose tunic, paired with trousers and combat, mostly in darker neutral tones. He is always armed to the teeth - even the hairpin he uses can be used as a small weapon or lockpick in a bind. Personality: Sage is pretty cautious/untrusting, and outwardly he puts on a bolder front, since as captain he has a heavy responsibility and must seem like he knows what he's doing. It puts a lot of pressure on him. Once he's free of those burdens, though, he does have a sense of humor and tends to be sarcastic. He's fairly quick to anger, though over the years he's learned to control his temper well and keep a good poker face and fake a smile and a flirt. He is extremely loyal, so once someone earns his trust, he becomes quite attached, even to the point of self sacrifice. Backstory: Sage was born on the islands around the Caribbean. His relationship was his father was bad at best, and his mother was mostly absent, as she lived in the sea with the rest of her kind. He ran away at a very young age, and found himself taking shelter aboard a ship. It was a pirate ship, though when he was found the captain agreed to take him on. He started from the bottom - a cabin boy, scrubbing floors and cleaning chamber pots. He quickly rose in ranks, given his cunning and quick mind partnered with his boldness in a fight and affinity for the ocean around him. Now he captains a ship named The Fury, with a large crew all under his own command.

It was just your average night on the Island, guards relaxing as they settle down for the night having a good night at the local pub. A few were rowdy but nothing that most couldn't handle. Adelaide and Isabella were out sitting at a table together watching and giggling with the scenes that were happening in front of them. Isabella scooted over to Adelaide as she leaned forward and covered her face with her fan as she turned her face to Adelaide "imagine if your father saw this" she chuckled as she looked all over the room with her eyes then focused back to Adelaide. Adelaide chuckled as she looked at the glass of rum that was in front of her "I think he'd be a little bit upset with me..." She leaned back a little and looked to Isabella "but... What's new any.....way I can't go back home now, I'm stuck here... Thanks to that lovely fella" she smirked. The girls continued to joke around for a little while before they agreed with was time to go. Adelaide finished her drink and got up and started to walk towards the Castle. The town was quiet and nothing seemed unusual for now. "It seems as if you've made this place as a paradise" Isabella walked with Adelaide. Adelaide nodded "well we'll see how long that will last" she replied

Sage was in the crow's nest of his ship, watching the lights along the shoreline flicker brightly where shops were open and people were moving to and from as they went about their business. He was waiting, if only for a little longer, until the full cover of darkness was upon them and most of the civilians were home for the night. It was much easier that way. Their goal was simple - get in, raid the place so they had the supplies they needed to keep sailing, and escape with as few casualties as possible. That meant striking when the town least expected it, and when the guards weren't in large numbers patrolling the streets. He stood up on the crow's nest until he was confident they had a nice time frame for the job, gesturing to the man steering the ship - his first mate, a much older man named Jayce. They formed a good duo...one young and headstrong person and an older but wiser person was a good combination to have. Sage had learned a lot from Jayce - more than he'd learned from anyone else, except for maybe from himself. As they approached the shore line, he climbed down, gesturing to his men to keep quiet as they got within hearing range. There was silence for a few minutes, the only noise from the crew, was the faint splashing of the water along the sides of the ship and a few creaks of the wood from their weight shifting as they prepared to attack. Sage watched, carefully, until the two women passing nearly directly in front of them were down the path a ways, before finally speaking. "Go." It wasn't loud, wasn't violent. But simple. A command issued as he lept out of the boat and onto the dry ground, watching his men swarm the town. He waited, watching, until the gaurds started to come running. That was who he'd been waiting for, so he lept into action, dual blades moving through the air with effortless speed as he engaged all of them at once. That was the plan - as the most confident swordsman of the ship, and as the captain, he had the responsibility to protect his crew. So, he'd keep the gaurds busy while his men got the resources they all so desprately needed. Then, once they were safe and they had everything, he'd stop playing. They'd either die or run, and Sage and his crew would leave safely.

Adelaide and Isabella continued their journey like usual until the sounds of the whistles and thundering boots rushing behind them of guards. The girls looked at each other for a moment before looking back for a brief moment... They had just walked past and didn't even notice the unknown ship that was docked at the shoreline. Isabella shook her head as she went behind Adelaide and started pushing her forward "I think we have to return home Miss... If we stay we are going to be in trouble" she spoke worriedly. Adelaide's hazel eye glanced to the shoreline, watching the men begin their raid on the town, with the handful of guards able to combat those they could. Anger started to build inside her as she was disappointed that she didn't even notice but also who was devilish enough to attack English lands. Isabella rolled her eyes before grabbing Adelaide's dress in-between her shoulders "let's go... Let the guards take this one" she demanded that Adelaide moved, knowing quite well that she's about to experience the scent of blood soon, pushing her to start moving "pick up your dress madam and let's go" Adelaide nodded as she picks up her dress and begun to run towards the Castle. Even being a vampire, she was still able to run the same pace as the humans around so she didn't leave Isabella alone. As the two approached, they noticed something was wrong.. they already closed the gates before they had safety return. They walked up to the gate and started bashing on the gate "Open The Gates! I demand you do so!" Adelaide called out repeatedly. No reply. No sounds of the chains opening the heavy wooden door. Nothing. Adelaide started to feel somewhat defeat as she takes a deep breath. Her eyes wondering down the wooden gate before the sounds of approaching men caught her attention. Too late to run and find another location. She grabs Isabella and hides her behind herself, holding her hand for comfort knowing that she had to defend the human behind her. Adelaide owed so much to Isabella as she was the one who found her that morning but also protected her from so many things. Adelaide quickly grabbed her dagger from under her skirt as she stood defencely as she watched carefully, also trying her hardest not to turn with the scents all around her "You Shall Not Bring Harm To The Princess! Turn Back Now, Or Face The Wrath Of My Blade!!" she called out, putting an act out to make it like Isabella is the princess and not her. Isabella shooked her head "Adelaide what are you doing?!" Muttering under her breath. Adelaide ignored the mutters as she was ready to defend a friend.

Sage had moved through the guards quickly, though of course more continued to take their place. You'd think they would learn, or at least try to adapt to do new tactics since he was killing off so many of them, but no. They just continued to swarm him. Or...rather, tried to. He was much quicker than they were - being part nymph helped, but mostly they were just big and wearing heavy armour. Normally those things were an advantage, but not with him. Here, they slowed you down. Got you killed. Eventually, he just....ran out of guards, though, and no more were coming. He sighed, moving to sort through all the pockets of the men laying around him, taking any money or things valuable from their pockets. He tossed it into a small bag and tossed it to one of his men, watching as they loaded many other things onto the ship. A shout to the side did catch his attention, since it wasn't one of his men. It was a woman ...young, by the way her voice sounded. His pointed ears twitched slightly as he tried to judge where the sound was coming from, moving in the direction after a moment or so. It didn't take long, and he crept in from the side, climbing the gate and crouching above them, just watching the situation. His men were clearly excited...pointed and laughing, talking eagerly amongst themselves. They'd moved closer, surrounding the two girls, clearly making them uneasy. He didn't act until the men actually reached for them, grabbing them roughly. He sighed then, hopping down smoothly with a quiet "enough." His words weren't loud, it was more of a mutter than anything, but it held power that was unmistakable. His men stopped immediately, and when his gaze shifted to the hands that were still on the girl in front, it was immediately removed. "Anyone care to explain what's going on here," he asked, gaze flickering over the two women as if he was bored and then completely turning his back to them, ignoring the knife the one woman held. It was an easy target, yes, but the message was clear. He didn't consider her a threat. He didn't really care what she did. He was more annoyed that his men were clearly not following the rules and had gone off on their own. They tried to give some sort of excuse, but since they all blurted out different things at the same time, he figured they were just being dumb. He watched them silently for a moment or so before simply saying "go back to the ship." They were clearly nervous as they walked away, and he let them be nervous. He'd punish them - not severely, he wasn't cruel. But they would have little sleep that night. Chores had to be done. He turned back to the women then, and to the locked gate. "What kind of rich people can't manage to keep a spare key to their own home on them," he asked, a little more condescending than he'd meant to. Even so, he stepped forward, slipping the hairpin out of his messy bun, and using it to unlock the gates, tossing the chain to the side before replacing the pin in his hair and shifting to walk away. There was nothing more for him to do here. Honestly, he probably should've just left. He wasn't sure why he'd opened the gate for them in the first place.

"keep calm... Don't let them feel the fear I can feel coming off you Isabella" she softly spoke in the quietest tone that only Isabella would hear as the men laughed, made fun of and approached them. The feel of the hands running and grabbing them was enough for Isabella, she lets out a scream as she just couldn't hold it in anymore. Adelaide couldn't care as she was holding her self back, it was uncomfortable yes but she wasn't ready to blow her cover yet. She kept her stance as the men backed away as their captain approached them. In that brief moment that he glanced at them she returned the glare, making eye contact with him. In that moment she paused as eased off a little but as soon as he turned his back to her she wanted to grab him and hold her daggers blade to his throat but respectfully held back as he told his men to back down. As the men backed off and returned to their ship. Adelaide continued you watch the Captain as he pulls his hairpin out. It was as if she had locked him in as prey and she was about to pounce. She lifts her shift up a little, just enough so she could slip her dagger back into it's sleeve on her inner thigh as the man unlocked the gate. She was letting her guard down for the moment as she looks over at Isabella who was looking at the ground, shaken by what has happened before looking back at the man. She scoffed a little a his Rich People comment "oh yeah spare key.... What women would be out during these hours anyways" she sarcastically groaned "didn't expect rude visitors" her words became sharp as she watched him unlock the gate then basically turned away. A bit confused, they hadn't raided the castle yet well they didn't get a chance too "it's unlike a pirate to not take treasure when it's basically free... No men to defend it just two females.. tsk what a missed opportunity" grabbing her red and black silk fan as she opens it up, covering her mouth as she speaks.

Sage hadn't taken more than a few second to unlock the gate, but it was a chance for his mind to think over a few things and allow him to come to a decision. He was good at thinking quickly, solving problems in the moment. Granted, said problems were normally ones he out himself in in the first place, but that was more or less irrelevant. These few moments did hold some heavy questions though - these women had seen his face. They could easily point him out to the royal navy, or even some kind of bounty hunter who collected those with the blood of nonhuman creatures in their veins. It was dangerous for him to let them go. It was dangerous for him to take them with him. And he didn't especially want to kill them now....that would rather have made the past few minutes irrelevant and that would be annoying. So, he simply unlocked the gate, turning around to give the woman an unimpressed look, crossing his arms over his chest. "You, apparently," he noted before sighing and adding, "You wear jewelry, no," nodding to the necklaces she had on as he spoke. "Put a key on one. Makes it easier to sneak back inside." His eyebrows lifted slightly as she mentioned him being rude, a slight flicker of anger rising in his gut, though of course he forced it down. He didnt like showing opponents his emotions. A poker face was better. "I just raided your village and you're concerned about a rude comment," he asked, though it was more rhetorical than anything. It was just...kind of stupid, he thought. He'd made the move to leave when she spoke again, and he let out a sort of chuckle. "First of all, being a woman or man doesn't mean shit. Id kill you the same way," he started. He couldn't help but add an, "Are you offering," as well though, mostly meaning it as a joke, alibet a somewhat dry one. "I have what I need. There's nothing more to take that we might need." He wrinkled his nose slightly then. "An old family heirloom means nothing to me. It holds no value to anyone besides the family," he pointed out with a shrug. "Besides, we have all the money And expensive items from every shop in town. Even you can't beat that," he added, shoulder lifting in a sort of nocholant half shrug. "Now, we're leaving, and you're going to go back in your fancy little house and try to use your brains to keep you and the rest of the survivors in this town alive until help arrives," he noted. "By then, we'll be long gone and you will not say a thing to anyone that describes this ship or crew, or we'll be back, this time with a goal far less .. lenient," he added. He kept his word too ...he'd have eyes on these girls. This town. He had eyes everywhere. Hidden ones. And if they told anyone anything, or tried to help anyone hunt them down, the whole town would die. He'd kill these two personally. But he'd rather avoid that, since some of his own men would die as well, and that wasn't really something he'd like to happen. So, for whatever reason, he'd given them this chance. He told himself it was for the good of his crew. Deep down, he knew he was taking a risk. A large one. For all of them. Kilking these two would be easier..they'd be long gone by the time any help came. They'd have no clues. But he'd made up his mind. He wouldn't go back on his word, not now.

As tempers rose on both sides Isabella grabbed Adelaide as she could sense she was about to snap "ah yes..." Just to grab Adelaide's attention "come on miss, let's listen to the nice captain and let's look after whoever we have left..." Adelaide was quick to shrug Isabella off as she sharply closed her fan, weirdly her eyes changed colour for not even a second as she looked at Isabella, simply not on the same page at all with the mistress "you are right Sir... But then that would make a easy fail point... Wouldn't take much for you or one of your men to sneak up behind and rip it off" taking a couple steps towards the stranger "men are stronger than ladies, naturally" she quickly glanced over to Isabella who was shaking her head a little. "A little heirloom may not be worth anything, yes you may have just raided one of the Carribbean richest islands, be a shame if you didn't take a royal hostage with you...now I know a few would pay quiet heavy for a royal" She looked down where the ship was, tapping her closed fan on her shoulder "but then again, what do the old'mate say... It's bad luck with a woman on board" throwing a joke it lighten the mood but more at the fact he wasn't taking them hostage. Adelaide fixed up her dress as it was messed from the men grabbing her "all these scents are making me sick" she spoke quietly under her breath "well, I'll try and keep the mouths shut for now.. I do have to report this though" she sighed then looked up to the man's eyes with a bit confidence "unless you wanna clean up your mess, take the bodies out of English waters and dump the out to sea and I'll simply put it down as an accident, misadventure" she smirked Edited at June 12, 2026 12:55 AM by ~Emerald Acres Stud~
