"She wanted a son, but my father ditched as soon as he heard she was pregnant, leaving her too scared to have an abortion. She wasn't happy with me, never really putting much effort into raising me. She hit me until I turned 18 and then she shoved me out of the house. I immedietly went to my friend, Sam's house and live with her now. She inherited her parent's small ranch, and I keep Secret there. Sam just keeps it running so she can say she has a ranch." Dakota said with a straight face, watching Secret eat hay across the road
