Remy quickly curled himself around the egg, gently fanning it with his tail and watching Sage sleep.

Sage passed out quickly, and didn't move from where he was curled up in the bed for a good few hours at least. Eventually though, he stirred, eyes blinking open as he stretched slightly before relaxing again, sort of gazing over at Remy groggily, still clearly waking up.

Remy smiled over at him. "Hey," he hummed.

Sage gave Remy a grin that was still half asleep. "Hey," he hummed with a yawn, running a hand over his face to wake up a bit more

Remy smiled. "How'd you sleep?"

Sage chuckled softly. "Like a rock," he mused, smile curling his lips upwards as he let his arms and tail sort of flop over each edge of the bed, just lounging around a bit as he woke. "How's the egg," he asked

Remy unfurled his tail, showing him the egg, still just as healthy as before. "Great," he smiled, evidently very proud of himself.

Sage smiled softly and nodded. "I'm so glad we got it back," he breathed, clearly already in love with whatever was inside. "Do you think it'll be a boy or girl?" He didn't know if there was a way to tell or not. (Would be cute if they got a daughter I think lol...she'd be spoiled absolutely rotten xD)

Remy smiled. "Me too," he hummed. "Well, you can't tell, not until a bit after they hatch," he mused. "I dunno... I think I'll love either of them so much..."

Sage hummed with a nod, sort of thinking it over. "I'd be alright with either," he agreed. "It'll be perfect no matter what."
