"What are we missing?" He asked knowingly. "I'll be right back, my love." He said, grabbing another suitcase or two and filling them carefully with all the books. At one point, he had to grab a third suitcase. He loaded everything into the car and opened her door for her. The blanket and snack along with a lotus was at her seat

Lorelei helped him load everything into the car. She'd packed a small bag of snacks for the two of them, and some of his and her things that were downstairs. She smiled, seeing he'd already prepared the front seat for her. She got in, putting the blanket over herself and opening the chip bag, taking a bite. "You know me so well," she smiled, leaning over and pecking his cheek. "Thank you,"

Lorelei squeezed his hand as her father answered the door. "Yes?" He grumbled. "Hi, Daddy. Can I move back in?" She asked. "Why?" He asked. "Because there are people after me and we need more protection," Lorelei explained. "And why can't you protect her?" Her father questioned Kai. "Daddy, he does protect me. He saved my life just earlier this morning. It's just the more snipers coming every time and I don't want Kai to get hurt anymore," Lorelei explained. "Well he's not allowed in my house," her father said sternly. "Daddy please, I want to be safe but I can't leave him. I love him," Lorelei said softly. Her father grumbled. "You get a 3 day test run," he growled at Kai.

Her father led them up to Lorelei's old childhood room. "You'll both stay here," he grumbled, and Lorelei nodded.
