Auni could sense some irritation from Theo...

"I guess they just have a slower pace of life in a way," she said softly as she decided he seemed like he didn't really want to talk but I guess that's what it is like to have a taste of her own medicine. She stayed quiet and worked on writing down a few questions for her debate team meeting later in the week. She then proceeded to work on sketches trying to practice for her portraits class. She was surprised by some of his attitude but she has a pretty big one sometimes herself, she couldn't help but wonder if she did something to make him mad and not realize it.

Auni went to her locker and quickly grabbed her things she got to go to the barn today. She enjoyed doing that because it helped clear her mind, and after today she needed that. She didn't say anything to Theo as she headed out to her car and waited for him. As she sat in her car the more she thought about what Cole had asked her and she debated on going with him just to make Theo jealous but he probably doesn't even like her in the first place. She isn't even sure if she likes him after his coldness she definitely isn't sure. She heard her car door open she decided to say something to help cut some of the tension.

"We can go home and I am going to change then eat...if you still wanted to come out and meet Rosie I'm leaving at 5:30," she said to him.

Auni nodded and drove home quietly. They got home and she got out and grabbed her things. Sadie was anxiously waiting for them at the door. She gave her some pets and put her backpack in the hallway. She went up to change she put on maroon breeches and a navy long-sleeve shirt, she also had her tall boots on and her hair in a ponytail. Then she went back downstairs and began making dinner. It had to be quick so she threw together some pesto pasta. She grabbed a bowl for Theo and set it aside. It was a strange day for her but she would be back in her element once she was there.

Auni looked over at him and hesitated... "Uh if you want to grab the strainer from the cabinet the pasta is almost ready," she said as she turned it off the heat and then grabbed some basil and pesto from the fridge. She chopped it up and set them aside so he could add however much he liked.

She grabbed two bowls from the cabinet and set them down on the counter with two forks. "if you wanted I could ask my trainer if I could let you ride Rosie... she is super good and she would let you ride her on the trails or she would probably let you use one of her other horses if you ever wanted something to do." she put it out there. She remembered he mentioned he used to ride. She has been riding for about 6 years and she does a little bit of everything. She mostly jumps but she loves to XC school for fun and ride western on the trails. Rosie is a draft cross and so she is big but she is also very safe. "Maybe we could make a deal?" she suggested. "If I go to a hockey game or attempt to skate on ice you ride Rosie?" she offered.

Auni was a bit surprised by his answer and wasn't expecting him to take it. "Deal," she said as she ate her dinner and then put her dishes in the dishwasher. She grabbed the rest and put it in a container for when her parents got home. She got her keys and made sure to remember to grab her helmet.
"they have extra helmets at the barn and you can ride in an English saddle or a western one. Western is usually more comfortable for trails especially if your a bit nervous. I ride both but I primarily jump." She explained as she headed to her car.
"you've done both which is harder riding or hockey?" She asked curiously. Surely it couldn't be that bad if the hockey team makes it look so easy.
