Kai smiled softly and kissed her gently before drying off and getting dressed. He dressed nicely like he did every day, but he was nervous about her father this morning. He even thought about skipping today's meals just to avoid the man.... "What's the plan, my love?"

"Well, we have breakfast with my father and then we can do whatever we like until dinner, with my father,"

Kai nodded, still nervous. He didn't know if he'd ever be able to get over his nerves around her father.

Lorelei sensed his unease. "Hey, its okay. He won't hurt you, I'll make sure of that," she whispered.

"I'm fine" He lied, not making eye contact

"Baby, I promise, it'll be okay," she whispered to him, trying to reassure him.

Kai nodded, letting down his emotional walls a bit in her trusting presence. He sighed, pecking her forehead. "I trust you"

Lorelei nodded. "It'll be okay. He won't hurt you," she whispered, promising him that.

"Breakfast?" she asked, squeezing his hand.
