Sage felt his shoulders relax slightly when the other male didn't seem to be aggressive towards them at all. He nodded along in response to Celeste's comment, moving to stand next to her now that he'd gotten Liz settled in his arms.

Sage nodded in response to his offer of staying, though winced slightly when Celeste looked at him. "I never can say no," he sort of grumbled, though not actually upset of course. "We can stay," he agreed. "Long as kids are ok," he added with a chuckle.

Sage nodded, agreeing with a sort of grunt. Celeste's excitement was contagious though, so he couldn't help but chuckle as well. "Let's get you settled in a room so you can rest before then, yeah," he noted lightly, moving to help her stand up.

Sage moved to help haul her up with a grunt, since there was a decent bit of added weight to her with three kids inside of her. He nodded a respectful goodbye to her brother, and then moved to follow her as she moved to the guest chambers they'd been assigned to or whatever.

Sage chuckled softly when he noticed celeste collapse onto the bed, setting liz in her crib to explore it and then flopping down next to her. "Sure you'll last through an entire ball," he teased lightly, though there was a bit of concern in his tone.
