"Noah," Dr. Smith started, looking over his glasses at him. "I'm not trying to tick you off someway when I say this, but they're basic. And you haven't been doing them. Look at you now, hasn't eaten in weeks, you havn't drank anything, and from what I can see your bones aren't going to heal anytime soon because you're so skinny now that your casts don't even fit. In order to start doing things you want, you have to have a strong basic foundation, which is the basic necessites."

Dr. Smith, let him yell, having become accustomed to it as Emery's gaze flicked down, her face only showing signs of sorrow. His gaze moved over to Emery, waiting until she looked up. "I'm sorry but, I suggest you give up on him. I can deal with diffecult patients, but this is where I really do start to doubt my work." The doctor said sadly, taking a few papers before leaving Noah and Emery alone. She watched him go, slightly shocked as he did before flicking her gaze down. "I tried, I really did. Maybe it wasn't worth it, after all." The woman muttered under her breath, it silent except to herself. She stood and silently brought Noah back to the car, staying silent as she did.

Emery stopped, taking her hands off the wheel and looking at him dead in the eye, eyes glossy. "And why would I leave you? You'd never get better and actually probably kill yourself, which i'm not going to let happen because A.) I would probably kill myself after you do, and B.) the light of my world would be gone. So don't speak those words around me, thank you. Since if you're just speaking nonsense then you need to go back to the hospital," She said, driving out of the parking lot and back to the dorm.

Emery just scoffed when he said she was meant to go farther, laughing for a small moment. "Well then, if I was than I would be gone by now." She mused, starting to move him inside.

"Noah I-" She started cutting off and just staring at him for a moment. Em flicked her gaze down, eyes glistening before she looked up at him and nodded. "Okay," The woman managed to say, simply walking into their room and grabbing her phone before hesitating at the door. "Good luck, I guess." She managed to say, blinking back a tear as she immediately called Max to stay with him for a little while. Emery could barely get words out, starting to sob once he pulled up but collecting herself before getting out of his car at his house and walking into one of the guest rooms before sobbing again. She sobbed for failing Noah, for him breaking up with her, for failing him, for failing herself.
