"Morning," He murmured, his phone dinging with a text which made him jump out of bed and start getting dressed. "Shit shit shit shit shit!"
Caden muttered under his breath, slipping into a pair of slacks and pulling on a white button down, slipping a belt through his pant loops. "Have a meeting I forgot about," The man explained in a rush, making himself look presentable as he rushed downstairs. He went and chugged a RedBull and slipped his shoes on, calling up to Emily before darting out. "I'll be back at one! Love you!" He called, throwing his things in the passenger seat of his McLaren and speeding off. |

Caden eventually got there, the meeting so big news reporters were there and articles were being wrote. "Please excuse my late arrival, traffic was crazy." He mused, taking his seat at the head of the table before the meeting started and the room erupted in questions and such, Caden having an answer to all of them. |

Emily busied herself with parts arriving for one of the rusted cars she'd found toward the back of the garage, seemingly forgotten |

Eventually everything was over, Caden letting himself be interviewed a few times before heading to his car. Something felt. . . off as he walked over, the man slowing before shrugging and walking on. A gunshot went off, along with a whizzing sound right past his ear. His windshield shattered at the impact, the man not putting two and two together before turning and seeing a man reloading a rifle. Caden paled and jumped into the car, speeding off back towards home with the only thought of getting away. He eventually pulled into the driveway, screeching to a halt as his heart skipped a beat. His knuckles were white around the wheel, his eyes still wide as he finally snapped out of it and realized where he'd ended up. He stood and got out of the car, steadying himself against the door before making for the house. |

Emily heard the car screeching and froze, terrified |

He went inside and poured a glass of ice water, his hand shaking so bad the ice rattled. |

Emily walked into the house, worried. "Caden? You alright?" |

He flinched at her appereance, whipping his head around and seeing her, his facial features calming. "Yeah just. . . shaken up." |
