"Got shot at," He murmured, looking up at her. "Somebody tried to kill me." |

"The fuck?" She said, eyes flashing with fury |

"I don't know, my--my name's getting plastered everywhere now because of my success, guess people didn't like that." He said shakily. |

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here" She said softly, embracing him |

"I know but--just--what if they actually do shoot me? Then what happens? My companies my live, the people depending on me, what abut all of them? What would happen if--" And so on, panic clawing at his chest. |

"Baby, stop. It's okay" She said, kissing his cheek |

"No--No it's not. I-I what if they--what do I do?" He started stammering nonsense, working himself up. |

His breaths started coming shorter and quicker, his eyes wide as he gripped the edge of the counter to stay upright, chest heaving as he entered a full panic attack. |

"Hey, hey. Eyes here. Look at me. Breathe in slowly.....now out slowly....focus on me, okay?" She instructed softly and calmly, making him look at her. "It's okay. I'm here. You're safe here. Breathe" |
