"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea,"

Sage smiled softly and nodded with a yawn, sort of just curling up in remys lap and drifting off

Remy held him for a while, snuggled up to him.

Sage didn't sleep for very long this time...really only just a few hours. When he woke again, his head was mostly clear, much to his enjoyment.

Remy had fallen asleep, curled up with Sage.

Sage smiled softly when he noticed Remy, but did move to take the egg from Rosaline so she could have a break, fanning it gently as he rested there

Remy slept.

Somehow, the egg was still healthy, and sage found himself just watching it happily as he fanned it. It seemed so surreal to still have it, and for it to be so healthy. After a bit though, he noticed small cracks forming along one end of it and it started to move slightly so he whacked Remy to wake him, not taking his eyes off the egg. "Remy," he hissed. "I think it's hatching."

Remy woke, groggily. "Hm?... Oh shit, really?!" He said whirling around.

Sage sort of wrinkled his nose when Remy woke groggily, then nodded and gestured to it. "I mean, I don't know what mermaid egg hatching signs are, but....it's cracking and shaking," he noted, suddenly very nervous. "What are we supposed to be doing," he added, still fanning it but now very unsure of himself.
