Sage groaned and flopped back on the couch as he listened to Roxie. "wonderful," he grumbled. "I hate being special sometimes," he huffed. He listened to Roxie with a cocked head and sighed again, closing his eyes as his mind whirled. "what's he even going to ask her to do," he murmured. "And how am I supposed to train her? I hardly know how to manage most of my own powers. Some of them are currently managing me," he all but spat, frustrated at himself for not knowing enough. "I'm certainly glad this happened...but I'm lost, Roxie," he admitted. "I have no idea what I'm doing. I never really did, I just powered through it all....but I can't do that with Hades." He was silent for a moment before sighing. "I guess the sooner we figure my brain out the better. Then we can decide what to do with the whole Hades situation."

Roxie chuckled and rolled her eyes "I hate it too..." she retorted with a groan "You're already more powerful then I am despite my being death..." she pouted giving a smirk before she put her serious face back on "I genuinely have no idea what he's going to ask of her... Or Max... but more then anyone they have the most to prove..." she pointed out "Given that they're both still part human... they're... well an anomoly... something different to any other demon..." she pointed out giving a small sigh "I think you need to give yourself more credit Sage... you're doing a fine job." she told him "You kicked my ass remember?" she teased before sighing "No you can't... especially since he can see inside your head... Alright i'll summon Fate and see if she can tell us whats going on." she shrugged.

Sage groaned slightly and crossed his arms. "Yeah cause I'm stubborn," he grumbled. "And I don't see why being half human is an issue," he groaned. "Why are all the higher ups so annoying?" Then he wrinkled his nose and glanced at Roxie. "Not you," he pointed out. "At least, not any more." He shrugged slightly and then blanched at Roxie. "He can what," he sputtered. "Glad to know that," he snorted in a rather sarcastic manner. "That's wonderful news!" But he nodded his head when Roxie said she'd summon fate...it would be best, he thought.

Roxie chuckled at him "Its only an issue because its different... I still sorta feel the same way... Max changed my mind a little..." she admitted "I mean... she was human and lived long enough through birthing a half demon to be transformed into one herself... if that doesn't change my mind at least I don't know what would have..." she admitted before nodding "Yeah... I forgot you've never met him before..." she replied "He only comes every thousand years or so or unless a matter of importance is at hand... This'll be your first time meeting him." she said before giving a sigh "Let me get the stuff we need to summon her i'll be back in a flash... I'd let Max know you're alright though, she was worried." she pointed out.

Sage huffed out a breath and then shrugged. "She's spunky," he hummed rather fondly. "And so is Charlie." He wrinkled his nose slightly when Roxie described Hades and snorted. "Do hes one of those that thinks he's all that because he has a fancy robe and iron fist but he never comes around in case we all figure out he's not as all powerful as we believe," he muttered. "How lovely." He nodded and then winced when she mentioned Max being worried. "Yeah...I'll let her know." Once Roxie was gone, he called Max, hoping she'd pick up and they weren't too upset about it all.

Sage chuckled lightly at Max's rambling and nodded, even though he knew she couldn't see it. "Yeah, I'm alright. Still a little confused as to what exactly is happening, but I'm not freaking out like I was either," he hummed. "You can come home now....Roxies gonna summon fate so we can try and figure out what's going on with these visions or whatever. And about Hades ....so you should probably hear it as well as me," he admitted. "She's gathering stuff to summon her now, so you have a little bit of time to get back." He leaned back against the couch with a sigh. "This is all really crazy and I could definitely use a comforting presence," he admitted.

"Okay..." She said breathing a sigh of relief "Okay I'll be home soon then..." She said gently "Just gotta pay for the groceries and put them and Charlie in the car." She told him "I love you... I'll be home soon." She assured him.

When she arrived home she quickly put the groceries away and put Charlie down for a nap hugging him "Hey..." She said gently just as Roxie popped back in "Hey Max... I take it Sage has filled you in?" She asked "A bit yes..." She replied Roxie giving a nod before she went to set up.

Sage nodded and told the girl bye before sort of just pacing across the living room until she got home. He hugged her back and watched Roxie set up for a while before flopping onto the couch with a sigh. "This is rediculous," he muttered. It needed to happen but..."we should be getting ready for Hades, not this." He just felt kind of guilty about it all.
