Maxine smiled and nodded "Sounds perfect to me." she said happily "Charlie's down for her nap for another half hour... how about we watch an episode of our show... and when Charlie is awake we can start up a movie?" she suggested.

Sage nodded at Max's suggestion and smiled up at her. He was tired, but he'd always take some cuddles even if he wasn't. So, cuddling up on the couch was a nice thought. He curled up against her happily, resting his head on her shoulder once they sat down. It was nice to relax and stop worrying about so much for a bit, it really was.

The two of them watched an episode of Supernatural (thought it would be a good fit for them Lol) and snuggled up on the couch she hoped the show would distract him from everything else on his mind even if it was only for a little while. "You want to go get Charlie?" She offered "I'll get us something to drink and get Charlie some juice." She said happily.

Sage was more than happy to cuddle up and take his mind off of things for a while. He nodded happily when she asked if he wanted to get charlie and slid off the couch to scoop up his daughter and bring her over to the group cuddle spot on the couch.

Charlie was quite happy to see her father "Daaadaaa!!!" She squealed happily hugging him as he picked her up. When they were all cuddled up they turned on a movie and watched for a while before Max got up and started dinner. As they ate she couldn't help but wonder what if anything they should be doing to prepare for meeting Hades... did she make the right choice about Charlie? She wondered briefly before stopping herself no... that she'd made a good call on... she wasn't about to risk her daughters childhood for some pompous god... she refused.

Sage smiled at Charlie's squeal, his face lighting up as he picked her up. "Hey baby girl," he chirped, pressing a kiss to her head as he wandered back to Max and the couch, curling up against Max's side and holding Charlie in his lap. He was still worried, of course....everything wasn't completely forgotten, and he couldn't help but wonder if the shadowy figures had anything to do with Hades. But he did want to relax for now, while he could.

Maxine smiled and watched the two of them together. After they'd finished she set the plates on the coffee table and just kicked back to watch the movie with her family "I didn't think it was possible but i'm actually a little stuffed... I guess that spahgetti was more filling then usual..." she chuckled "Either that or I unconciously put more on my plate then usual..." she admitted.

Sage was more than happy to just...sit and chill for a bit with his family. He chuckled and shrugged in response to Max's comment. "I'm full too....maybe it was just more filling than usual," he hummed, bouncing Charlie on his knee to entertain her.

Maxine chuckled happily "Maybe... I mean I haven't made it in a bit..." She admitted with a shrug.

Sage shrugged and hummed lightly. "That's true," he admitted. "But it was good either way," he chirped. The next two weeks were a mix of crazy and calm. Hades would be there soon, and his visions weren't really improving too much, but he'd figured some things out about them and was learning what to do to control them.
