Max laughed lightly "So what i'm the only one in this house that's gonna have a "Dad bod" for a while while you get to stay slim and trim huh? unfair..." she smirked "Besides Travis isn't really getting that bad of a dad bod in my opinion..." she admitted "And as far as getting my attention you could get it even with a dad bod... you've had it from day damn one mister, if you hadn't we wouldn't have Charlie." she smirked "And another on the way." |

Sage chuckled lightly and shook his head. "Nope, you just get pregnant lady belly," he chirped. "which, in my opinion, makes you look pretty damn sexy," he hummed lightly. Then he chuckled again. "No, he's not, but I like teasing him about it," he informed Max happily. Then he grinned up at the girl. "Oh, I know. I could get it anytime I wanted," he added mischievously. "I know what you like to see," he hummed, eyes glittering. "And abs are part of that, so they're not going anywhere," he declared with a chuckle. |

"I'd challenge that but considering you saw me for 20 minutes max with a belly and most of that was while I was having her I have nothing to say..." she admitted sheepishly before chuckling "Anytime even with a dad bod." she teased before she smirked "Alright alright... I do love your abs... but even if you were a chunky monkey I'd still love you you weirdo!" she giggled. |

Sage chuckled lightly and grinned up at her. "So I win," he chirped before chuckling lightly. Then he felt his grin widen when she admitted she loved his abs, soley for the fact that for once he was 'winning' one of their playful arguments. "a chunky monkey, huh," he laughed. Then he hummed and nodded. "I know you would," he hummed, patting her leg gently. "But I'd still rather be fit enough to do stuff without plopping down after one little thing like an old and unfit guy," he chuckled. |

"This time yes you win..." she smirked before laughing "Yeah a chunky monkey!" she giggled before nodding "Especially with a second kid... definitely want to be active." she nodded. After a little while she got up off the couch and put Charlie down on the floor with some toys before grabbing her phone "Oh Hailey said she's gonna bring the sitter over in a couple of hours to meet us and Charlie." she smiled. |

Sage chuckled lightly, humming and staying in the couch, watching his wife play with his daughter. He nodded when she said the sitter was going to come over. "Good," he grunted. He had a hard time trusting people...he'd been conditioned that way his entire life and then his entire demon life. He'd definitely be judgy to say the least. |

Maxine smiled "I'm not a fan entirely of leaving our one year old completely for the first time... I know you have trouble trusting people but if you don't trust the sitter trust your best friend and his wife..." she pointed out looking up at him. |

Sage sighed and nodded, waving her comments off in a way. "I know, I know," he hummed. "I'll have to let it go enough to have a good time or there's no point to going anywhere," he chuckled. "But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna worry," he snorted. Then he pursed his lips. "Maybe I can get Roxie to keep an eye on how things are going and let me know once or twice through the day," he mused. |

Maxine smirked "I'm not gonna not worry about her either..." he explained "But hun we can go out and have some fun too..." she pointed out giving a roll of her eyes and chuckling "If she's able and it would make you feel better you can always ask?" she suggested "On one condition though: You meant the sitter first at least." |

Sage sighed and nodded. "I know," he hummed. Then he tilted his head in thought before looking back at Max and nodding sheepishly. "I'll meet the sitter before I make any rash decisions," he promised Max. "Though, some land mines outside to keep critters away may not be a bad idea," he muttered to himself, already sort of going into over protective father mode and plotting out where to put various weapons and such to make sure nothing happened to his daughter while they were away. |
