Sera’s breath hitched as she watched Finn take her hand so delicately, the cool metal of the ring brushing her skin. Her eyes shimmered as he slid it onto her finger, his hands steady despite the emotion in his eyes. She glanced down at it, at the perfect way it fit. Her heart fluttered as she caught the tiny engraving inside — Forever. Her lips trembled into a soft smile. She gently picked up his ring next, holding it like it was something sacred, her fingers brushing the engraving on his — Always. Her gaze flicked to his, full of emotion. “With this ring,” she whispered, her voice thick with love, “I give you everything I am. Always.” And she slid it onto his finger, her hands shaking just slightly from how much her heart was overflowing.

Sera’s heart swelled as she heard his words — soft, trembling, full of everything she’d ever hoped to be loved with. She felt her own tears slip down her cheeks, but she didn’t wipe them away. She wanted to feel every second of this. She nodded slowly, their hands still joined, the rings now symbols of something so much deeper than promises. Her voice was barely a whisper, but full of emotion. “Forever,” she echoed, her fingers tightening gently around his. For a moment, it was like the world stilled. Just them. Just this.

Sera melted into his arms the second they wrapped around her. The kiss stole the breath from her lungs, but not in the way that left her gasping — in the way that made her feel whole. Safe. Home. Her hands slid up to cup his face, smiling against his lips even as her eyes welled up again. The cheering, the officiant, the world — it all faded. All she could feel was him. When they finally pulled back, just barely, she rested her forehead against his, breathless but glowing.

Sera laughed — a sound full of joy, unfiltered and bubbling from deep in her chest — as Finn spun her, her dress catching the light like a wave cresting in the sunlight. When he dipped her, the world tipped with him. Her arms clung to his shoulders as he kissed her again, stealing her breath the way he always had. Just like under the streetlamp that night she first realized he’d always be the one. Her heart swelled. The cheers and applause of their guests barely registered. All that mattered was his hand in hers, solid and steady. Warm. She held tight as they walked together down the aisle, her new husband by her side, heart racing with the kind of joy that felt like the start of forever. “I love you,” she whispered, only for him. “More than words ever deserved.”
