Sera laughed softly, the kind of laugh that trembled with emotion. Her fingers gripped his jacket just a little tighter as her heart swelled in her chest.

“You really think so?” she whispered, blinking quickly as another tear slipped down her cheek — happy, full, overwhelmed.

She leaned in and kissed him gently, her nose brushing his as she pulled back just enough to look into his eyes. “As long as it’s with you… I’m not scared.”

Her voice softened to a near whisper, full of love.
“We’re going to make something beautiful, Finn. A little piece of us.”

And in that moment, with the music humming around them and his arms wrapped tight around her, she had never been more sure of anything in her life.

As they reached the car, she paused for a moment, tugging gently on his hand to stop him.

She stepped in close, the smile on her face soft and glowing. “Finn?” she murmured, her voice tender. “I’ve never seen you this happy before…”

She ran her thumb gently over his knuckles. “And I promise, I’m going to spend the rest of my life making sure you stay this happy.”

She kissed him again — slow, deep, full of everything she couldn’t quite put into words — before nodding to the car with a grin. “Now come on, let’s go start forever.”

Sera slid into the seat with a glowing smile, her hand never once letting go of his. She looked over at him as he shut the door and rounded the car, her heart so full it almost ached.

She laced their fingers together once he was in, resting their joined hands on the console between them. The way he smiled, the way he looked at her like she was his whole world — it made every quiet fear she'd ever had feel distant, insignificant.

"I love you more than I know how to say," she whispered, turning her head to rest against the window, watching the streetlights flicker past as they drove.

When they pulled into the driveway, she turned to him and squeezed his hand gently.

"Ready to go home, husband?" she asked, her voice light, teasing — but full of love.

She held onto him as he carried her through the door, warm light spilling over them as they stepped into the home they’d built together — the beginning of their forever.

She kissed his cheek, then his jaw, and then gently rested her head against his chest again, her voice a whisper.
