Ryker made sure everything was loaded before getting into the drivers seat. "Why wouldn't it be? Get some res.t" He said quietly, starting the car and the trip home.

Abby went to sleep again, her eyes closed and breathing calmed. Occasionally she would wake up for a second, her hands on her stomach. She would shake her head and go back to sleep.

Ryker silently drove all the way home. An hour or so later he pulled into the long gravel drive. The lights in the barn were on, and it was getting dark out quickly. At least two horses were out in the pastures.

Abby was still asleep when they drove down the driveway. Sun nickered from the barn while Shadow bounded around the field.

Ryker got out and walked to the other side of the car, gently brushing a hair out of her face. "We're home." He said quietly. "Sun and Shadow look pretty excited..."

"They do?" She asked sleepily, leaning on Ryker to stand up. "Home" she murmured. "What time is it?"

Ryker put an arm around her shoulder just to make sure she didn't fall over. "Of course. Excited to see you. I think it's around 20:20" He answered, then paused. "8:20." He added.

Abby smiled. She steadied herself before walking to the back of the car. "Do I need to take anything in?" She asked.

Ryker followed her and shouldered his bag before grabbing her suitcase. "Nope. That's why I'm here. Go visit your horses or thank Martin or something " He joked, pulling everything out of the trunk and closing it before carrying the stuff inside. Afterward he went towards the barn, where Martin was whistling and grooming Frynn.

Abby perked up "I'll go say hi to Martin then Sun and Shadow. She walked quickly to the barn, hugging Martin while he brushed Frynn down. "Thank you so much!" She then bounded over to her beloved grey mare, letting herself into her stall and hugging her neck. The mare draped her head over Abby's shoulder before pulling away and breathing hot air in her face. Abby giggled and kissed the muzzle infront if she before petting her face. She put up a finger "I'll be back. I gotta say hi to your little Colt out there" she grabbed a treat from outside the stall, feeding it to Sun then walking out. She closed the door and practically ran out to see Shadow. The colt was pacing. He obviously knew she had returned. Shadow wouldn't stand still when she tried to pet him. Abby let herself into the stall and grabbed his messy mane, putting her arms around his neck, one pulling his face toward her. "Hey bubba" she said. She pulled out a treat and fed it to the beautiful Colt. "I hear holy can do tricks" she said as she pulled a second treat down. Shadow lowered his head, his legs sprawled slightly as he bowed. "Good boy!" She praised, giving him his well deserved treat and stroking his whithers.
