Sage smiled softly as he felt her shift, letting out a heavy breath of contentment. He could feel the sun, warm on his back, and it was just very peaceful. Nice to rest here like this. With the kids, they didn't get this sort of quiet and relaxation often.

Celeste woke a little bit later, her eyes flicking open as she glanced over at Sage with a smile.

Sage was still sort of in the half awake half asleep stage, curled up under the covers happily.

Sage stirred slightly, blinking his eyes open briefly to smile up at her before curling in a bit more, but leaving his head where she could keep running her fingers through it.
