When Lana noticed the stallion's legs start to buckle, she ran and turned, so their shoulders where agenst each other, when he revealed his attacker, she stamped the ground in frustration and anger, It had to be the lead stallion of her herd she thought, he was horribly dominent and aggresive. After steadying him, she gently nudged him in the derection of the river without bumping his wounds, "I'll take you to the river so you can clean all this blood off, and maybe it will dull your sent so the stallion can't follow your trail."

"Oh, thank you, lamb." Teo cracked a smile at the mare before following her lead, pressing his tall frame into hers as he limped on. He had to bite his tongue to keep from appearing all too happy. He was supposed to be in agonizing pain, after all. At the river, he dropped into the stream, closing his eyes and allowing the sting of the water in his wounds to overwhelm him. His face soured as he hissed and flicked his wet plummage around his hips. "Maybe we should travel through the stream for a bit. He can't track us." He was still panting. He lifted himself from the river bed, the pain from his shoulder felt like throbbing, but better. He scented the air, inhaling deep, but could not pick up any trace of the herd anylonger. "I know some place we can hide for a bit that he won't be able to find." Teo suggested, trying to encourage her with a half'hearted smile. |

Lana listined intently as the strang stallion spoke, she shook her plumige at the 'lamb' comment, a little of the nausa came back, she wondered if he had fallen on a rock or was just his way of saying thank you, she new that if his attacker was her herds lead stallion, she would not be welcomed back into the herd. But if she bathed in the lake, and sent the stallion on his way, she might have a chance. She pondered his idea for a breaf moment, contimplating the risks, but made her mind up as she saw his features sour, a clear sighen of horrible pain. She slid into the water, allowing the shocking cold to creep up her spine. She shuddered, then turned towards the weary stallion, "I'f you know a place, then lead the way, if you feel unbalenced again let me know." |
