Celestes eyes welled with tears. "He was crying Sage- he just wanted to nurse... I should've been able to do that..."

Sage sighed softly and wrapped her up in a hug. "He's confused. Something in his schedule changed ....but he'll grow used to this new schedule and everyone will be fine." They wouldn't nurse forever anyway, they were already a few months old.

Celeste began to cry. "Its something so simple... I should be able to give him that..."

Sage hummed softly and shook his head. "You've given them everything you have," he noted softly, just rubbing her back gently.

Celeste shook her head, sobbing. "I can do better... i should be able to do better..."

Sage just sighed softly, not responding at first. He knew whatever he said she wouldn't really listen to much, but he could sit there and hold her until she'd calmed down.

Celeste cried into his shoulder.

Sage just held her tightly, rubbing his hand on her back in a comforting manner
