Emily cried until her eyes were empty of tears. She got up and glanced in the mirror while walking out of the room, hating the sight. She went downstairs and poured a glass of wine before heading to the garage to drink and work on cars |

Caden drove over to the track, pulling the gate open before full sending it down the asphalt, getting lost in thought. |

-SHITTTTT- My mind screamed as my wheel wobbled, sending the bike skidding as I lay on the asphalt, rolling onto my back before staring up at the stars, wanting to bash somebody's head in. |

As I lay in the twilight of the stars, the hot, humid breeze blew by, rustling my hair and tugging at my clothes. I sighed, grabbing a pack of Marbolo's from my pocket before taking one out, lighting it as I lay there, puffing out steams of smoke every so often. |

Emily texted Caden drunkly, asking him to come home. She set her phone down and passed out under the car |

I barely heard my phone buzz, ignoring it as I blew a cloud of smoke out of my nose, the sting familiar and somewhat calming as I reluctantly read the text. I picked my motorcycle back up, turning the engine back on before driving off the track, returning home before walking into the garage and putting it away, seeing Emily passed out and utterly not surprised. -Should've known better. Passed out. Messy, stressful. What have I even gotten myself into?- A part of my mind asked. -You still love her. And you still give people second, thirds, fourths, and so on chances. Because you haven't learned from your mistakes.- |

-Shit and I just worked legs, this should be fun.- I sighed at the thought, pulling her out from under the car before slipping my arms beneath her legs and waist, carrying her inside before into our room, pulling the covers over her as I flipped out the lights, heading downstairs to get some water. |
