The next day eventually arrived, dawning the 25th of April and the first official day the two were finally back to eachother. Caden drove over on the same motorcycle from yesterday, now wearing a pair of sweats and a black hoodie, pulling his helmet off before heading up to Emily's door, knocking.

Emily was dressed as she happily answering the door and gave him a once-over, biting her lip. "Hey" She said softly

"Hey, got these for you while I was in town, thought you'd like them." I grinned, handing her a bouquet of her favorites. After she put them away, I handed her the helmet she'd worn ages ago, noting it still fit good before I got on, helping her back pack before starting the ignition. "Hold on," I noted, pulling out of the lot. -I know you've been wanting to.-

Eventually we turned down the side street, reaching the gate before I punched in the code, the gate retracting as I drove in, parking in the garage.

"So, what do you think?" I asked, getting off before putting my keys up on the new Wall of Keys©, pulling my helmet off and dragging a hand through my hair, pulling my gloves off before tugging off my hoodie, revealing the two new sleeves i'd gotten, now fully healed.

She looked at the tattoos. "New?" She asked

"Yeah, got them around six months ago." I noted with a grin, fixing my tank top before heading for the door, looking back at Emily. "I think I know who's missed you the most, though." I watched as Murphy trotted out, his coat and face ridden with white hairs, the dog whining as he circled around her. "Come in, make yourself at home." I mused, walking inside, my gaze catching on the American flag folded into a triangle, hesitating slightly at the memory before pushing it away, carrying on inside. It may've happened months ago, yet just because time passed didn't necessarily mean it got any easier.
