Morgan looked at him with a raised brow, a small laugh escaping her when he said he could read minds. "You what?" She asked with a laugh, clearly just under the impression he was teasing. "You can read minds," she repeated with a laugh. He was just messing around. She didn't believe him, at all. She sort of moved to sit up, pressing her hands against his chest lightly. "Alright then," she started, humming as she thought about something. Him. His eyes, his hair, his smile... the way he spoke to her so carefully, and she could tell he loved her. She loved him back just as much. |

Morgan rolled her eyes at him with an amused chuckle. "That's a good guess," she mused softly, pecking his cheek softly. "But you already knew that," she giggled playfully. She hummed when he told her to think of a number, and decided to make it incredibly specific. Two hundred and seventy six she thought, then flashed him a grin. "Okay, guess," she giggled |

Caleb chuckled at the randomness of the number. "Two hundred seventy six" He stated with a smile, taking her hand and interlacing their fingers. "Why did you choose that number?" He asked with a confused chuckle |

Morgan stared at him, her heart racing as she tried to make sense of what was happening. Her mind was spinning with questions. How did he know? The number he’d mentioned felt too personal, too specific, like he’d somehow known exactly what she was thinking. It wasn’t just a guess, it couldn’t have been. She let out a deep breath, her thoughts scrambling. "How did you do that?" Her voice came out a bit shaky, disbelief evident in her tone. She didn’t want to believe it, but the more she thought about it, the harder it became to deny. Her suspicions were growing stronger, but she still wasn’t sure what to make of it. Was it a coincidence? Or was there something more? "It was the first thing that came to mind," she murmured, almost to herself, still trying to process everything. She sat back, her hands slightly trembling as she looked at him, searching his face for answers. |

"I don't know why really how, I just know that I can." He answered, rubbing her back. "I've always been able to and i've had to learn to silence my voice externally when I hear you tahink or, really, anyone think. When you called me a stalker, I heard that. When you looked me up and down, I heard that. All of the things that go through your head I hear." He explained, worried she may not want him now that it was all laid out in front of her. "I can't shut it off, persay, but I can ignore your thoughts for a little while. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, it's not something I go around boasting about." He muttered, now ashamed at keeping a secret like this from her. |

Morgan leaned into his touch as his hands traveled slowly up her back, each movement gentle and purposeful. She wasn’t sure how to feel about him hearing everything that swirled inside her mind—the fleeting thoughts she never meant to share, the quiet musings she kept hidden. He knew it all now: what she thought when their eyes met, when his fingers brushed against her skin, even the very thoughts that ran through her mind in that moment. It was strange... and he was strange, in a way. Not in a bad way, of course, but still strange, in the sense that he knew her in a way no one else ever had. But despite the oddness of it all, she loved him, all the way. She could feel the sincerity of his presence, his comfort in sharing this part of himself with her. “It’s... okay,” she murmured, her voice soft, the words coming out almost as a sigh. “But I’d like it if you didn’t hear everything I think about you,” she mused, the smallest smile playing at the corners of her lips as she let the thought hang in the air. The truth was, some things, some thoughts, she wanted to keep to herself. Even with him. |

"I can respect that." He muttered, looking down and dropping his hand from her back. "I can try to ignore most of your thoughts, but i'm gonna slip every now and again just to warn you." He stated, getting up and walking downstairs to give her some space. He sat down at the bar and flipped through his phone, ignoring the texts from his friends |

Morgan watched him walk off, her mind wandering further and further. How could he do it? Read her mind so easily. She sighed softly to him before shaking her head. Though, after a moment, she thought hard. Come here. she thought as a smile crossed her face. She stood up, slipping out of her clothing and flopping out if he'd. If you can read my mind, you'll know exactly what I'm thinking, she thought with a happy little laugh. |
