He pulled away softly, his gaze resting on hers, "My break is over." he sighed, reluctant to go back towards the counter. |

She simply raised a finger, meaning one second, im busy. as she took a customers order, cashing them out at the register. |

He went out of the breakroom. "Your trouble."
He made the customers order, Pretty quickly. He handed it to Em his finger brushing hers. |

She smirked lightly, taking the drink as she quieted her voice until only he could hear. "Maybe I am, that's for you to find out, though." With that she turned back around, handing off the coffee. |

He chuckles, washing off the counter. " I guess it is for me too find out." He teases, washing off the coffee grinder and coffee maker. |

She answered with a soft smirk, working at the shop for the rest of the day and chatting with both Eli and his dad---mainly thanking him for the mac and cheese---until eventually, he left after closing up, leaving Em and Eli alone. The woman turned towards Eli, leaning back against the counter. "Well, it's just us, now." |
