Since he was now under a blanket, he was too tired to care if Odessa was nearby. So he agreed when Celeste suggested she take care of the kids....it let him catch his breath slightly before they cleaned him up too. He offered Celeste a breathless smile, holding her hand tiredly. He did his best not to pass out since he did need to get cleaned up, but he felt himself drifting away anyway.

"Don't sleep," she hummed softly, "Lets get you showered and dressed first," she helped him up and into the shower.

Sage sort of groaned tiredly but let her haul his sorry ass into the bathroom and clean him off. He wasn't really aware of much, but somehow she managed to clean him up and get him into clean clothes. He soon found himself in bed. He passed out quickly after that

Celeste curled up with Sage, passing out too.

Sage just barely had enough energy to curl into her as she wrapped her arms around him. He wished this hadn't happened here but....it could have been a lot worse he supposed.

Celeste slept peacefully, wrapped up with him.

Sage slept until around noon the next morning. Morning? Afternoon? Whatever it was called. "Ugh," he sort of noted, waking with a groan, entire body hurting as it always did. He hated waking up the morning after morphing. It honestly just....sucked.

Celeste woke a little before him. "Good morning, baby," she whispered.

Sage sort of just grunted in response, not feeling entirely well enough to talk back. But he did try to make an effort to respond.

Celeste smiled softly, scratching behind his ears gently. "Its okay," she smiled softly.
