Give Award	As the day went on, her father's condition only got worse and Laurel rarely left his side out of fear that the nurses wouldn't catch something in time to help him. She stayed until visiting hours were over and she was forced to head back home. Thankfully, when that time came they'd had him stabilized for a couple of hours, but it didn't ease her mind any. He was in a significantly worse state and she didn't know what to do. Regardless, she trudged up to the penthouse and into her room so she could shower and ready herself for work that night, if she could even keep herself together.

She was a little more withdrawn and distant than usual upon first glance, though she tried to hide it behind one of her typical sweet smiles. No sob stories. She had to work to pay the bills so that her father could get the help he needed.
