Kai slept very well all through the night.

Camery slept soundly, staying curled up next to him. It had been a busy day but... she'd really enjoyed herself behind back in the castle, and of course back in their own bed was always lovely.

Kai woke first, the light shining through her window, making her glow. Kai smiled, holding her close.

Camery stayed sound asleep, only really shifting to hide her face in his chest as the sun shone through the window, right into her face. There must have been more magic here - she'd noticed the light golden lines that adorned her skin had been much more prominent here, day or night.

Kai smiled, extending his wing out to shade her.

Camery settled back down happily when she was covered, and sort of nuzzled into him with a little smile as she started to wake up.

Kai smiled, gently trailing his hand along her back soothingly.

Cam stayed settled down for a long while, admittedly rather enjoying just being doted on a little. She woke up slowly, her arms moving to wrap a little tighter around him after a moment. She smiled and up at him with tired eyes, clearly glad to just... be with him.

Kai smiled, holding her close. "Goodmorning, babe,"

Camery grumbled softly, just burying right back into his chest. Her wings were folded neatly on her back, and she couldn't help her little smile as he spoke. "Morning," she whispered gently after a moment.
