"Hm?" He hummed, opening his eyes slightly, not yet noticing the shadow vines.

Cams eyes widened slightly as she watched him, her hand reaching towards his shoulders nervously. "Kai... look," she whispered, gesturing towards his arms and legs.

Kai looked down at himself, the shadows. His eyes widened. He'd always known he had special powers, but he'd always suppressed them, as he'd been taught. "Shit..." he gasped.

Camerys eyes widened at his surprise, figuring this wasn't something that was normal at all. "Baby... what's happening..." she asked worriedly as she sat up, gently freeing herself from his wings.

Kai sat up as well, staring at his hands as his fingers turned into talons. "I-I don't know..."

Camery watched him, her draw dropping slightly as she shifted away from him. She saw him rip the tiles up before, and she didn't want to get in the way of them. "Okay... it's okay, take deep breaths."

Kai was already getting anxious. His breathing uneven as she backed away. She was afraid of him... tears came to his eyes as he panicked further, his horns emerging from his head...

Camery reached forwards to place her hands softly on his upper arm, still very careful to avoid his talons. She didn't have a clue what was going on... she didn't know how to fix it. Her mind started to race, and all she could do was squeeze his hand. "Hey... shh, it's okay," she breathed softly to him after a moment. "You're okay," she whispered quickly, watching the horns sprout from his head wirh pure panic in her eyes.

Kai started crying. What was happening? He was just relaxing, nothing stressful...

Camery just stared at his horns as they sprouted from his head, getting more and more worried about the whole thing. What's was going on? Was he not happy with just cuddling up? What was wrong? She frowned slightly, and reached for him before pulling back just a little. "Baby whats happening?" She whispered gently to him, clearly worried.
