He managed a slight smile at that comment, looking over at her through red and dirty eyes. |

Kayla's eyes were shut still and her face pinched with annoyance and frustration |

Gale's smile faded and he looked back out, feeling hurt as he misunderstood. "I..need a minute. I'll be back...eventually." He informed her, voice quiet as he stood and limped his way away from Kayla. He needed to get away-she was mad at him, it'd be best to run away, the man's mind repeated over and over and over. Gale picked up the pace and started to painfully run away from her-away from her after he made her mad. He ran off for a few miles, not turning back. As soon as the man stopped and posted up against a tree, he broke down. Gale didn't know why, but he did. After keeping everything up, letting his mind get into places he wouldn't wish on even his worst enemy, it'd come out. And even though it didn't seem like it, the man's sobs were wracking painfully through his chest, his lungs burning as well as almost everywhere else. Now all Gale could do was endure. |

After a while of Gale not coming back, she took off looking for him the direction he'd gone. "Gale?" She said softly, spotting him. "Oh, love, what's wrong?" |

Gale's head immediately snapped up, hearing her footsteps long before she arrived. He watched into the darkness with wide eyes, scared for his life that it be another guard. When Kayla came out though, he did nothing but harden. "Only thing that's wrong is you won't tell me how I made you mad." The man snapped, standing and starting to walk away back into the woods. |

"You think I'm mad at you? No, I got to thinking about the king and my brothers." She explained quickly, placing her hand on his back |

"Thought we killed them all though....right? Or did we only kill one? Or was it me who went and killed that one guy after I took you? Did I take you....? From that place that's called-uh, that one kingdom." He mumbled, memory fuzzy. |
