When his hand was slapped away, sage whirled around with bared teeth and a vicious snarl of his own. He definitely would have started a fight had Louis not dragged them out before he could have pounced. He was clearly furious, though forced himself to let Louis stand between them, hoping he could calm the situation down

Louis backed away, letting the two of them have at it. He just wanted to get them away from the girls so they wouldn't hurt anyone unintentionally. Louis also knew that this wasn't going to be a hash-it-out situation.

Sage raised an eyebrow slightly when Louis backed away, figuring that in a pack males just....fought it out sometimes, and that it wouldn't impact anything. Which was good, because he was launching himself at the younger male the moment Louis stepped away, bowling him over with a fury he'd barely known he'd ever possessed.

Alex launched himself at Sage as well, barreling into him, fighting back viciously.

Sage had to give Alex some credit, since he held his own pretty well, but sage had been fighting in life or death situations for years, and his skill level was higher. That combined with the raw fury that was prickling his skin, the fight was over in only a couple of minutes. Though, both of them were rather beat up and breathing heavily by the end of it

Alex panted, fuming that he'd lost. He stormed out, leaving the apartment. Louis looked up at Sage. "He'll be back," he muttered.

Sage watched him go, frowning slightly at Louis' comment. "He'd better have a change of attitude about my wife," he grumbled, getting off the floor, still rather annoyed with the whole thing.

"Yeah, sorry about that. In our culture, there are no wives. If a woman is fertile, the males fight over her and whoever wins gets her. Alex is still young, but he should still know better," Louis explained.

Sage grunted with a nod. "I figured as much," he sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Maybe we should just work in here and leave the girls alone for a while," he added.

"I suggest you go comofrt you wife first," Louis said.
