He just smiled at her words and pressed a soft kiss to her head. It had been so long since they'd just relaxed together. It was nice, so he curled around her a little tighter

Celeste held onto him tight.

Sage didn't move for a long while, not until the kids had started to wake up.

Celeste whined, clinging onto him.

Sage just chuckled softly, pecking her head. "I'll be right back, I promise," he noted, gently detangling himself from her and finding Odessa to help with the kids before moving back to curl up with Celeste again.

She nodded, curling back up with him once he came back.

Sage was glad when he curled back in, relaxing against her as his arms wrapped around her again. He found himself half drifting off after a bit.

Celeste stayed awake, laying in his arms.

Sage hadn't really meant to drift off, but he hadn't been this relaxed in a long time, so it was nice to get in a light sleep he supposed.

Celeste stayed up, curled up with him.
