Kayla felt comfortable enough to close her eyes with a sigh |

Once her eyes shut, Gale slumped. God he was tired, so tired. His mind raced, his head finding its way to being held in his hands as he squeezed his eyes shut. The man was sick of life, sick of running from everything he'd been too much of a god damn coward to take care of earlier in life. Now he had somebody he had to take care of, keep a good relation with, and keep happy. The weight was a boulder, and Gale was the ground. Always carrying the weight and not being able to say anything. |
