caleb was working on calming whiskey down. "um, i dont think so" he said half paying attention. he was more worried about checking whiskeys leg. "stupid dog bit him" he muttered under his breath. whiskey was now calm enough to check properly. the dog had drew blood.

Taylor rolled her eyes. "I was talking about you," she sighed. Taylor knelt down and examined Whiskeys leg. "Well, his arteries are fine and his tendons are fine. Just a flesh wound. Stay here," she said, getting up and running down to the barn, coming back with an antiseptic and bandages. She cleaned Whiskeys wounds, and wrapped it in bandages. "There you go, he'll be fine,"

caleb looked at taylor. "im sorry tay" he knew he came across the wrong way and felt really bad

Taylor cocked her head. "Why are you sorry?"

"Nevermind, just don't ride Whiskey till he heals," she sighed, turning and walking away. Taylor had tried. She'd tried to get this boys attention for years, but he was always too busy thinking about his horses or work. This wasn't a bad thing, but he wasn't showing any signs of interest in Taylor. Maybe it was time to give up...

"yeah ok. i guess ill just have to annoy you instead" he said nudging her with his shoulder playfully. "this years gone to crap hasnt it." there was no telling how long whiskey would take to heal maybe it was time to break in angel, or show those he cared about how he truley felt

Taylor just walked away. She felt so tired of trying with Caleb, this had gone on far too long. Either something needed to happen or she needed to get over him. Taylor went down to the barn, tacking up Domino and mounting.

caleb shook his head and went to see angel. he knew he had stuffed up with taylor. he stood on the outside of the round pen. angel had been cooped up in the pen for weeks. no wonder the mare was moody. caleb put a lead rope on the mare and took her for a walk. on their walk angel spooked and ran off. "crap" caleb went back to the barn and saw taylor. "taylor, i need a horse. good at roping" he said urgently. he couldnt loose angel. he had just started on her again. and he couldnt get whiskey to help him as he was injured.

Taylor was looking at the clipboard of horses that were stabled here that had and hadn't been excersized today. "Take Bear. Third stall to your left," she muttered monotone to him. She put the clipboard back before walking away from Caleb and over to Dove's stall. She brought the white mare out and mounted her, trotting away to the lake.

caleb tacked bear up and mounted. hed never ridden bear before but oh well. as long as angel was caught, right? the small gelding was fast. they soon found angel and roped her in. caleb lead the mare back giving bear a lot pats. when they go back caleb put angel back in the round pen and cooled off bear washing the gelding so he shone then putting him back in his stall. after hed finished caleb got an english saddle and saddle pad and put them on the round pen railing. he then grabbed a girth that looked like it might fit angel.
