Josef slept until late morning, eyes flickering open to the sun absolutely blinding him. He groaned and dragged a hand down his face, sitting up and getting out of bed before heading to the kitchen, grabbing the pan from earlier and quickly cleaning it, realizing then why he should've been grateful for RedBulls before he got stranded. |

Sadie remembered her plan for the day and popped a few leftover blackberries into her mouth. Then she grabbed her backpack and made her way back towards the cabin, appreciating the wildness of the island as she walked. |

Caden had eventually figured out how to get the stove to turn on, it was the second lightswitch in the bathroom, not the dial. The dial turned the light on in the bathroom, not the switch on the wall. He chuckled at it, looking for something to cook. |

Sadie walked up to the cabin and knocked on the door. On the outside she was confident and prepared, but on the inside she was worrying about what would happen if she couldn't get water. |

Josef answered it, still half asleep and yawning as he did so. "Yeah?" He asked, swearing he knew the girl but he didn't. |

Sadie noted his tired state and did her best to speak in a way so he couldn't refuse her offer. "The least you could do is let me come in so I can fill up my water bottle." She crossed her arms and looked at him expectantly, hoping desperately that he would agree. |

Caden stared at her for a minute, stepping out of the way of the door and letting her in. "Yeah. . . right." He muttered, shutting the door behind her. |

Sadie fought to keep her composure as she stalked past the man and entered the building, trying not to breathe a sigh of relief. She went to the sink-- glory be, a sink!-- and let the water fill her hydroflask to the brim before tightening the lid. Sadie took a minute to look around at the little hut. It was so warm and cozy compared to the tree she'd spent her night in. She forced herself to walk up to the doorway that led outside. She stepped through, but paused on the porch. How nice it would be if she could sleep in a normal bed. But that was impossible, since he seemed not to care about where she stayed. Sadie straightened and walked away, not looking back. |

Josef watched as she walked out, considering her crazy for not staying in the cabin. "Wait, didn't I kick you out yesterday? Yeah uh. . . i'm sorry about that, was only thinking for myself. You can stay, i'm still not too sure who you are but, i'd rather you not get hurt, or killed. Both are bad." The man called, now standing in the doorway. |

Sadie stopped, totally dumbfounded. 'Why the change in behavior?' she asked herself, turning to look back at the guy. She was suspicious of him, so she asked scrutinizingly, "Why should you care about me?" |
