He watched as Camron moved a knight forward and thought for a moment before moving a second pawn up. "Yeah it is kind of calming right now," Malcolm replies, "although it won't be after a while when we start getting into the more strategic areas."

["Ah, true." He moved his bishop a couple spaces. "When I played with my sistser we'd normally start jokingly trash talking each other around the end of the game when it got intense, my parents thought we were being serious and made us stop but it is still funny to look back on."]

Malcolm chuckled at what Camron's answer was before moving his own bishop forward a space. "Well that sure does seem fun," he says and waits for the other to make his move, "I rarely have time to play this now but when I was younger I would play it with some of the workers' children while their parents worked."

[Camron moved a pawn forward as he listened. "Sounds fun, when I was younger I'd sometimes play with some of the neighbor's kids. My sister's boyfriend commonly brought his little sister over so I just got bored and taught her chess at one point."]

(It's later then normal, I got a little busy with art stuff last night and forgot to reply)

Malcolm nodded as he moved one of his pawns up one space. "That does sound nice," he says, "I bet it gave you a lot of competition when they started to play better. Plus you could do a tournament between all of you if you really wanted to."

[Camron moved his Queen out. "Yeah, it got fun as we all started to get better, it was just something we did." He sighed slightly, most of them moved away several years ago after an accident, it was very unfortunate but you can't prevent an accident and it was best for them to leave." He stared at the board for a moment.]

(Sorry it's so late, a lot is happening personally and it's quite frustrating to deal with so I've been a bit busy)

"Oh that is unfortunate," Malcolm answers as he stares at the board some more before moving his bishop a few spaces again. "Maybe we could start playing chess more often," he suggest, "probably not everyday but we could keep track every month and whoever wins the most that month gets an award. That would be fun, right?"

[Camron moved his Queen a couple spaces, "Playing chess with you more offen would be quite fun." He stared at the bored slightly, "don't know how an award would work though." Camron lightly tapped his fingers with a sigh as he watched the board.]

(sorry again, I've had quite a bit happening personally and it's hard to log on consistently at the moment, I'm just trying to reply before I forget x.x)

He nodded as Camron answered and stared at the board a bit to try and decide what he wanted to do. "Well the awards could be something small," he explained as he moved his rook to the side some, "like the looser has to go buy the winner something from the market."

[He listened as he watched the movement before moving a different pawn, "Ah yes, me, a simple guard must find something a prince would like." He watched the board before fixing his sleeve instinctively.]

(I've had a very frustrating and hard past week and so far this week has just been worse, I may not be replying as fast for a while since I'm less in the mental capacity to log on in general. I'll try to be on when I can and I'll reply before I forget but I am struggling to actually log on due to some personal issues, it should work itself out soon (hopefully) but until then I'll be on a bit less (again I'll still respond whenever I can), sorry about all this.)
