Taylor went down to the lake and tied Dove up to a tree, while she stripped down to her bra and her underwear to go swimming. The water was on the cooler side, but Taylor didn't mind. She went right in and starfish floated. Taylor let her mind wander and even started to cry a little. She had drooled over this guy ever since she'd seen him, and she'd been putting in everything she had to try and spark something between them, but he always remained distant and uninterested. Maybe it was time to stop trying.

caleb had softly placed the saddle pad atop of angels back. the mare seemed fine. he then carfully lowered the saddle onto her back. still she seemed fine just wary. pushing his luck caleb did the gitrth on one side and brought it to touch angels stomach. she just shook a little. then he did up the girth. the saddle needed a half pad under it. so caleb put it on. once angel was settled caleb started ludging her with the saddle on.

Taylor stayed out at the lake all day. Eventually, she came back around sunset, dried off, but her eyes were all red from crying. She put Dove in her stall before beginning to groom the mare.

caleb was outside putting a bridle on angel. well at least trying to.. "oh come on angel. put your head down" he was frustrated. "how come your fine with the saddle but a bridle is the end of the world." after 20 minutes of stuggling he finally got it on "see not that bad"

Taylor groomed Dove for a long while, holding back tears as she listened to Caleb work with Angel. Soon enough it became too much. Taylor sunk to the ground of the stall and began to sob. She tucked in her knees to her chest, head buried in her hands as she cried. Was it because she wasn't pretty enough for him? Was it because she was annoying and emotional? Thoughts swirled in her mind as she cried and cried.

caleb heard the soft sobs and lead angel into the stables with him. he saw taylor crying. was she hurt? "tay? are you hurt?" he asked. maybe it was him. "do you want to help me with angel? might give you the first ride" he offered with a soft sweet smile.

"Just go away Caleb," she muttered, continuing to cry.

caleb nodded. "ok, if thats what you want" usualy he wouldnt leave he'd stay and want to help. but something between them had changed. he lead angle out to the small arena. he was supposed to take it slow, technialy he shouldnt try to break in a horse for a while. but hed stopped caring about what doctors said a long time ago. the only thing that had held him back was taylor telling him not to

Taylor eventually stopped crying and stormed back to her room. She collected everything she'd ever gotten from him and shoved it all in a box. She carried it out and over to his cabin, dumping it on his front step before storming back to the main house, collapsing onto her bed and just sobbing.

caleb soon untacked angel and put her back in her round pen. he ventured back to his cabin and saw the box of stuff. taylor had made it clear she wanted to forget about him. he truely cared about her and didnt want her to be sad so if she wanted him out of her life hed go because her feelings mattered more to her than his own. he took the box inside and packed all his belongings into boxes and placed them in his truck. he then went to taylors granparents place and knocked on the door
