Caden Ortiz// As the dogs came back in,Caden went back up to his room and brushed his teeth before hopping into his bed's sheets.He wrapped his arm around Rosa and sighed. "This feels,just right.It reminds me of when life was perfect." Caden announced semi-sadly. |

Rosa strokes his head, "it'll be okay" she says, carefully snuggling into his side |

Caden Ortiz// Caden shut off the lamp before snuggling up with Rosa and falling asleep quite quickly. |

Rosa yawns, smiling as Caden fell asleep. She fell asleep not long after as well. |

Caden Otiz// As Caden predicted,his dreams were nightmares. "I used to look up to you." Why?Because you knew I was better and that you could've done better!" The whip came crashing down on Caden's face and he fell.His father then dragged him and kicked him before leaving.He came back and was about to gag him. Caden jolted awake and sat up,lungs tight,chest heaving. "It was just a dream,it was just a dream." He mumbled quietly.He looked at his watch, 3:00 am.Caden could'nt resist the urge to go double check the locks and windows around the house so,he did.The fridge sputted out water as Caden filled a glass with some water.He drank it and just thought.The thinking between you and yourself. |

Caden Ortiz// With the traumatizeing nightmares,Caden took a few sleeping pills.He walked back up to his room,cautiosly,before getting back into bed.Eventually the pills forced his eyes shut into a reckless and uneven sleep. |

Rosa woke up to his thrashing. She held his hand, stroking it gently. She sat up, holding Caden to her chest, whispering that it'd be okay. |

Caden Ortiz// Caden was still having nightmares and in one,Rosa was the one being hurt as Caden watched.He jolted awake again,to feel the touch and warmth of Rosa.She was telling him it would be okay but,would it? "Will it be okay though?What if he comes back,and takes you instead of me?Because he will,if he knows who you are.That's why I needed you to stay no-contact with me while he was here.You must stay hidden from him,ok?" He asks,his eyes gleaming with worry and anxiety. |
