Giovan seemed to purr with happiness when she held him as close as possible to her body, the gesture reinforcing the emotions she was evoking deep within him; it was far too early to call it love, yet he knew and no longer cared that there was a high possibility that it would become love. He tilted his head slightly to get more of a desirable angle into the crook of her neck, his eyes shut in an indication of how relaxed and at peace he was. Truly, he would have stayed in bed if he did not have any or was unaware of the important matters at hand. He would occassionally place a kiss on the hickey his lips rested near upon her neck, smiling slightly at the knowledge that her body was marked and claimed by him. The mere idea of another man touching her pissed him off beyond belief; she was his woman, not someone else`s.

``You have a fair point,`` he mumbled, his voice conveying the disappointment he was feeling. Giovan wanted her by his side as often as possible, the idea of her not being in his sight disturbing him greatly. He lifted his head and shifted back a little to avoid crushing her beneath his weight, nodding slowly in acknowledgement of her words. A rather lopsided, goofy smile crossed his features as she admitted to wanting to stay in bed as well, the expression conveying him as one of those lovesick goofballs; this was certainly something reserved for her. ``Unfortunately, there are things I have to do.``

Giovan sighed before he gave her a brief kiss to the forehead, shifting off of the bed and heading towards his wardrobe where he spent a few minutes shuffling through the clothes that hung from the hangers. He settled on wearing a simple shirt and black pants, knowing he would mostly be wandering around the mansion for the most part. On his way to the bathroom that was connected to the bedroom, he called over his shoulder with a gentle, almost loving voice, ``If you need it, you can use some of my clothes. Feel free to wander around as well; this place is just as much yours as it is mine.``

His room was immaculate and the right concuction of modern and luxury, all of it creating an intimate and unique atmosphere. It was apparent that it reallt was designed based on his needs and that of another individual, making it even more clear that he was expecting to have a lover of some kind in the future; Josephine was here now, so she was fulfilling that role. There was a rather spacious part of the suite-like room where there was a lounging area that consisted of leather couches, a fireplace, and a large television that spread nearly across the whole wall; it screamed wealth, even if he tried to not flaunt it in the one place he felt most comfortable and at peace.

There were photographs scattered across the room as well, most of them containing himself and his brother since his parents had been busy ruling the Sicillia Mafia back then. Truth be told, it had taken him years to become as talented and skilled as he was when it came to ruling such a large organization. Unsurprisingly, there was a glass showcase of wines and other alcoholic delicacies that he had gathered over the years or, alternatively, had been gifted. Below said showcase, there was another that contained numerous firearms that were easily accessible; given who he was, this was not too surprising. Each and every weapon had a story or had yet to have a story, all of them engraved with his family crest along with the bullets. Of course, they had their ways of figuring out that these belonged to him and not his father or brother since the Scillia Mafia may need to track him one day in case of something going awry. However, at the center of it all was a silver ring with an exquisite diamond attached to it, the glass around it being the only type of its kind: bulletproof. The ring was the embodiment of Scillia power and it was clear that it was reserved for someone special to him.. maybe that someone being Josephine in the future.

Giovan brushed his teeth and tended to his ruffled hair, smirking at the apparent hickeys she had lefr across his neck and upper torso. She had been unforgiving just as much as he had, and it had amused and pleased him greatly. He exited the bathroom and headed towards where he had caught her sneaking off to in his peripheral, his eyes darkening slightly in desire and admiration at the sight of her in his clothes. The sight felt so natural, even if it had sent a chill down his spine. He heard the sound of coffee being brewed and did not complain nor think much of it. This room- no, the entire mansion- was her home now and he was no longer worried about where she went. Of course, he cared about what she did since there were some rules in place, but he would not scold her anytime soon. He let her explore to her liking, leaning against the wall with an affectionate, warm expression plastered across his face.

``Indeed, I am,`` Giovan chuckled as he watched her approach him, noting the way her hips swayed and the way his shirt clung loosely to her body; she looked absolutely adorable at the moment, even if such a word was not the best one to describe her of all people. He hummed softly in contemplation when she offered the mug of coffee to him, the gesture rather meaningful to him since he was accustomed to doing everything himself. However, he usually shyed away from coffee since he rememebred the bitter, foul taste it had from all those years ago when he had first tried it; the concept that coffee only tasted disgusting when one was younger was what made him consider it. It was apparent that he also did not want to outright deny her offer and come off as rude or coldhearted, which was the last thing he wanted when it came to her.

``Thank you, darling,`` he eventually conceded as he spoke, reaching out with a hand to take the mug from her. Giovan took a small sip, expecting the very same bitter taste that he had experienced before; he nearly cursed aloud when it tasted quite the exact opposite from back then. It was still bitter obviously, but he could actually tolerate it this time; the other subtle flavors in the coffee definitely helped and he found himself genuinely enjoying it. He took one last sip before returning the mug to her, knowing she had spent the time to make that specific cup of coffee. Besides, he did not want too much of it for the time being.

``Do you like the place?`` Giovan asked as he shifted his gaze from her lovely face towards the lounging area stretched out behind her. If there was anything she wanted changed or added, he would ensure that it happened; this would be her home as well now and he wanted her to be happy and content. When his gaze returned to hers, it softened while he gently reached out to wrap an arm around her waist and pull her a little closer. He sighed quietly as he placed his chin atop of her head, his hand massaging her side like he had done before. God, she was making it really, really difficult for him to leave this room even if it wasn`t on purpose. He knew he definitely had to tell the officers directly below him that she was now a permanent resident to prevent them from panicking or raising the alarm when they saw her wandering without him by her side. Unfamiliar individuals that somehow managed to get into the mansion were always promptly removed.. in considerably immoral ways.

``I`m glad to hear that,`` he whispered as he shifted his head, angling it so he could press a kiss to her scalp before raising it entirely. Begrudgingly, he removed his arm from around her petite waist and gave her a final look over, his expression still noticeably gentle and almost loving before he frowned. He knew this was the moment they were both dreading: he had to leave and genuinely tend to his duties, especially since he had an entire empire to run and constantly fret over. Anything that went wrong regarding rhe Sicillia Mafia was his fault and he knew that he would much rather keep things going the way they were without something altering it; this could only be ensured if he was fulfilling his role.

``I do have to go now, but do feel free to do as you like,`` Giovan spoke softly- a tone of voice that would eternally be reserved for her and her alone- before he gave her a last kiss on the cheek and retreating back towards the bedroom. Truly, Josephine had complete freedom now that she had earned her way into his heart, the one place that would forever be hers. If anyone dared question her and her authority, they would be dealt with by him personally; she was his equal now in this world, whether she wanted it to be that way or not. He grabbed his phone from where he had left it on the nightstand, bringing it to his ear once he dialed one of his highest ranking officers.

``The woman in my room can do whatever she pleases. I want you and everyone else to consider her my equal,`` he spoke with confidence, even if he sounded absurd to the man on the other line. No one had ever thought Giovan was capable of experiencing or even falling in love; they knew how cruel and violent he was and how truly unlikely it would be for even a woman to truly be attracted to someone like him. However, that did not stop his officer from taking note and spreading the information as soon as he hung up. With a content hum and smile plastered across his face, he shoved his phone into his pocket before glancing back towards where he had left Josephine. He waited a few moments, curious to see if she would try to make him stay or offer to accompany him; he truly was curious and her actions would not affect him too much.

Giovan smiled and chuckled when she bounded back towards him, halting mere inches from his body while her hands rested gently yet firmly on his chest. He could not help but notice how gorgeous and adorable she was right now, the emotions apparent in those gray pools he had become so enchated by. He hummed softly in contemplation, deciding it would be a little comical to make it seem like he had to think about his answer; deep down, he would have answered yes in mere milliseconds since he did want her to go with him. The next words she spoke nearly made him melt on the spot, his gaze somehow managing to soften further. He removed his hands from where they had been hidden in his pockets, using them to pull her close once again.

``I can say the same for you, darling,`` he whispered softly as he nuzzled his face into her hair, savoring her closeness and unique smell; he would probably have lost his mind if she had not asked to go with him, especially when he was already feeling so possessive and somewhat obsessed already. He wanted her to he safe and protected at all times along with everyone in town being aware of who she was now. ``If you want to come with me, I won`t stop you.``

Giovan pressed a kiss to her scalp before he took a step back and gave her some space. He waited to see her reaction, his smile remaining plastered across his countenance. Truly, this woman was proving over and over again why she deserved all of his love, care, protection, and affection. Giovan had never been so vulnerable or even this affectionate with anyone else, yet he wanted it to be this way; she needed to be aware of how much he cared and cherished her despite everything else.
