Charlotte laughed softly. "Sounds like something this dumbo would do." She patted Kylie's neck as she stared off into the distance, Kylie also staring as she picked up an extended trot, keeping up with Loki. She looked around, and then locked gaze with Jaden again, her face turning red. Dammit! Keep it together Charlotte! She mentally scolded herself, neutralizing her face as they neared the end of the trail. |

Jaden chuckled lightly, humming a tune as he noticed how her face turned red when her gaze locked to his again. -How weird..- He thought, shrugging it off as Loki picked up a slow canter. |

Kylie took off galloping, trying to get ahead of Loki. Charlotte just let her go, her hat flying off her head and hitting Jaden. Her face lit up as Kylie ran, the wind whipped her hair back, loosing her hair tie. Her hair unbraided as she caught her band, figuring she'd fix it later. |

Jaden snatched her hat, Loki sprinting off and easily passing Kylie as Jaden turned back and grinned at Charlotte, urging his stallion faster. |

"Hey! Kylie ain't no racer!" She laughed as Kylie sped up even more. She trailed behind Loki, but he was faster. Kylie started slowing down as she brought her down to a steady canter, then down to an extended trot. Jaden did the same. She trotted up beside him, asking for her hat back as Jaden teased her. |

He laughed at her comment, looking back and smirking before turning back forward and slowing to a walk. Jaden handed the hat back, still grinning softly before looking back at the barn and freezing. His eyes widened, smile dropping as he paled slightly. The man watched as his ex lead a grey quarter horse in western gear away from the barn, forcing himself to put a warm expression on his face as he turned back to Kylie. "Lovely day, yeah?" |

Charlotte instantly noticed something was off. "What's wrong?" She said, her smile fainting slightly. Then she saw her. Leading her dappled grey horse in western tack. Charlotte knew that expression. It was an ex of his. She looked beautiful, and stunning. Charlotte froze. How was she gonna compete with this? Dammit. Dammit, Dammit, Da- Mitt. She said the last past out loud as Jaden looked at her confusedly. |

"Nothing, everything's fine." He muttered, trotting Loki in and rushing to get him untacked and turned out as panic clawed at his chest. Jaden went to go put his saddle up, knocking down three others. -Damn,- He thought, putting the saddles up before walking out in the same nonchalant way he always was. |

Charlotte just trotted inside and tied Kylie up as she looked at Jaden concerneningly. He seemed, off. She wanted to help him, be near him, but she wasn't sure that he liked her back. She had finally regonized her feelings, choosing to not mask them anymore. She was in love, wether she wanted to or not. Even though it had been less then 2 months of knowing him, she loved him, but didn't admit it or show it. |
