Axel nodded, humming softly. "I figured, if you're wearing that," he noted softly. "Want to talk about it," he asked, wanting Duncan to feel comfortable talking with him.

"...I don't know how... I don't know how to talk about it..."

Axel nodded, trying to think about how to help him explain it all. "If you didn't like it you can tell me," he noted, figuring it would at least be that topic. 'im not going to get upset about it," he added gently.

Duncan shook his head still staring at the ceiling. "No, I liked it, I just..." he whispered. "... I don't like not knowing whats going on with my own body. I don't know what just happened, and I don't like that I don't know..." he whispered. "I still feel disgusting after scrubbing my body raw, I'm sore in places I didn't know could hurt and I... I keep seeing flashes of him..." he trailed off, tears welling in his eyes.

Axel hummed softly in thought as Duncan spoke, though he was a bit relieved Duncan had liked it. "Why don't you go talk to the palace doctor," he suggested. "They'd be able to explain it," he added softly. "I can come with if you want....we'd just have to sneak past your brother," he added with a small chuckle at the last bit. When Duncan mentioned the other man though, he sighed and shifted to place his hand gently on Duncan's shoulder, just rubbing his arm gently. "Maybe we should have waited longer," he murmured.

Duncan shook his head, "No, whatever happened was normal, it happened to you too, but no one has ever explained what that was to me and I still don't understand it, but I'm not going to make the poor old lady nurses explain that to me," he mumbled. A tear dripped down his cheek. "Why can't I just forget about him?" he breathed.

Axel nodded as Duncan spoke, humming softly. "I can try to explain it, if you want me to," he murmured. Though when he spoke about the other man again, he just let out a heavy breath of air. "I don't know," he admitted, tightening his hold on Duncan slightly. "But it gets easier, I promise."

Duncan nodded. "Can you please?" he whispered as he tucked himself into Axels chest, slow crying.

Axel nodded, wrapping his arms around him as he nestled in. "Yeah," he noted softly, making sure they were comfortable before explaining everything best he could. Hopefully, it would calm Duncan down enough for him to sleep at least. Stop crying. He hated to see him upset like this.

Duncan cried in Axels arms until he drifted off to sleep listening to the sound of his voice. He had listened though and things were starting to make sense.
