Gale smiled softly, the sun's rays dancing across his face.

"Do you miss the illegal doings and the running and living at the camp?" She asked after a moment

Gale nodded silently, mind drifting for a moment before he wrangled it back. "Yeah, miss the thrill."

"I'm sorry, too. Always assumed you would be fine with getting chased by officers and tagging along with some thief who was wanted dead or alive, and you saved me, really. Most likely I would've been dead by now, whipped or tortured or hung." He explained, drumming a rythym softly against his leg.

"But I feel like I trapped you and I'm not good enough to you" She explained softly

"Babe, if I hadn't ran off as a kid, this would be my life anyways. I've already gotten two letters from my father, asking if i'll take over his kingdom when he passes." He explained, glancing back out.
