"I'm here," He murmured, Malakai now fast asleep in his arms.

She looked to him and smiled. "He's so adorable. I love him so much" She said softly. "His eyes...." She trailed off

"Just like mine," I finished, chuckling sadly. "Except,......y'know what i'll finish that later." I muttered, rubbing my eyes.

"Is something wrong? Do you need sleep? I can take him..." She offered

"No no, i'm fine. If anything, you need to get some rest. You just popped this thing out of you like it was no big deal," I joked, Malakai waking up and staring up at me.

"Can I hold him?" She asked, honestly halfway worried he'd say no

I nodded, handing the blonde headed boy over to her, smiling still as I sat down beside her bed.
